Reviewers praise its 13g protein per serving, gluten‑free/grain‑free formulas, fun flavors like Fruity, Cocoa, Cinnamon Roll, and Maple Waffle, and cheerful packaging; common complaints cite an artificial or stevia/monk‑fruit aftertaste, gummy texture that sticks to teeth, flavor inconsistency (especially some chocolate/peanut butter variants), limited satiety for some, and very small, pricey boxes.

  • I love a healthier alternative for cereal for my children. They usually complain with cleaner brands but they ate this brand. The only downside was the seed oils for those that are seed oil conscious.

    No discount
  • The fruity flavor is amazing tastes just like fruit loops! Great ingredients too

  • I've tried almost every flavor for this brand because I like the concept - high protein (filling), low sugar (healthier than alternatives). The reason for a 3 star review is that while the product tastes good (for certain flavors, I liked their coco puff variant), the price point is too high for what it is and for a few months, Magic Spoon leaned in a discount model (offering 20% off the cereal) instead of marking the cereal as $8, which was still pricey, but once they stopped offering promos, I stopped purchasing it. I've since seen them lower their price at Target and now offer their cereal at Costco (fruity flavor only), but I haven't made additional purchases since.

  • I was really hoping to love this cereal. as it has a lot of nutritional benefits. However, it tasted absolutely disgusting.

  • My kids love this cereal! I love that I can feed it to them without any Mom Guilt. They prefer the chocolate option to the fruity flavors, but really love it either way. Only criticism is the cereal tends to get soggy fast! We also really wish this were available at a lower price point because when the kids go through it quickly, the high end price adds up, so it isn’t something we get weekly.

  • Huge fan of the chocolate/peanut butter together! I’m not sure if that was just a limited time option or not but it’s so good. I really enjoy these cereals but they are too expensive for me to get regularly.

  • I was SO excited to try this after a friend told me about these cereals, but they ALL contain milk protein. No-can-do. I was really disappointed to read that the company has no plans to make a vegan product. I know someone with a terrible allergy to dairy. She isn't vegan, but people like her can't eat this either.

  • Yummy mm mm good cereal! I have 20 boxes at home! It is my favorite cereal, especially the cocoa!

    Bargain market
  • I don't eat cold cereal often anymore, but there are just times that you crave a late night bowl of cereal. This completely scratches the itch and I don't feel like I am getting a carb overloaded sugary snack. It is a little overpriced, but you do pay for better ingredients and that is the point.

  • Magic Spoon cold cereal was a lovely surprise to find on the shelves of our local stores. We try to eat low-carb food in general and this cereal fits right in with that diet. It allows us to splurge on something that we would typically not be able to eat. because of the high carb content. I've tried most of the flavors and find most of them to be delicious and mildly sweet tasting. I have several boxes on my pantry shelf as I write this.

  • I enjoyed it but my kiddo didn’t love it as much

  • Great high protein alternative. Helped me keep up my protein intake while pregnant and only craving cereal 5 times a day!

  • Better than expected! I started a Keto diet a few weeks ago and was looking for keto friendly cereals. And I have to say this is the best one so far! It’s like your eating regular cereal but better.

  • Great, healthy alternative! Comes in fun flavors.

  • Honestly? I'd rather just not eat cereal at all than eat this stuff. I respect what they are doing and wish I could enjoy it but I just can't.

  • Love this cereal! It keeps me feeling full until lunch time! Will definitely purchase again.

  • Purchase magic, spoon chocolate cereal and was very happy with it. I’m very pricey, but I would definitely purchase it again if it was on sale.

    Myself
  • This cereal was crazy expensive, like $10 a box! It’s high in protein, but other than that I couldn’t tell why this cereal was so much. It tasted fine. Not cardboard like at all. Colorful packaging.

  • Excellent taste and texture! Delicious! Made rice crispy treats out of it, too. Healthy product!

    Regular price
  • These cereal are SO tasty! Very pricy, but when you can find them on sale, they are definitely worth the purchase. When we walk through the grocery store my kids will point out this cereal as one of their favorites before reaching for something like Cap'N Crunch- total win! Will definitely be on the lookout for when they have special promotions and sales in the future.
