Magic Spoon largely satisfies those seeking a healthier, high‑protein, low‑sugar riff on nostalgic cereals, according to reviews, but it is not universally loved. Reviewers praise its 13g protein per serving, gluten‑free/grain‑free formulas, fun flavors like Fruity, Cocoa, Cinnamon Roll, and Maple Waffle, and cheerful packaging; common complaints cite an artificial or stevia/monk‑fruit aftertaste, gummy texture that sticks to teeth, flavor inconsistency (especially some chocolate/peanut butter variants), limited satiety for some, and very small, pricey boxes.

I like how the food is packaged. The cereal has a great taste. It's easy to take with you, if you are like me and have a crazy schedule.
Feedback
I personally really like this brand. I give it a 5/5 stars. The company is great to work with as well.
Actually amazing and more flavorful than typical cereal. You don’t have to compromise health for flavor. Definitely will purchase in the future.
Feedback
Unfortunately there aren’t many retailers around us that we find the brand at. I believe if the price point was slightly lower it would reach a wider group of consumers.
I just think it’s not enough bang for the amount of buck. It’s an incredibly expensive cereal and while I do like the taste of the Fruity flavor, I cannot see myself dedicating part of my grocery budget to have this for breakfast frequently.
Feedback
Taste great, but very expensive. If you are looking for a healthy cereal alternative and have a Whole Foods budget, I would buy again.

This is a solid choice if you like a cereal that stays crisp in milk. The best flavor is the cocoa. Despite being low-carb, the cereal is on the sweeter side and something I wouldn't eat too often.
Feedback
Overall, great. One thing I would change is to make the cereal less sweet. Also, I'm not sure I would buy this cereal very often at the regular price.
I love a good cereal but this one only had one flavor I actually liked and it has an after taste,

The price is ridiculous. Needs better taste.

I didn't like this as much as I was hoping to. It didn't taste great and also had a weird aftertaste.
Absolutely Love the taste and nutrients provided in Magic Spoon. As an adult I understand the cost per serving vs nutrients but my child eats what she wants and half the time she doesn’t finish her serving so it’s hard to justify the cost for our family.
This one falls under the category of "just because something is beautiful doesn´t mean it´s good". My husband and I were both targeted heavily on social media with this brand. We both like cereal and thought the concept was interesting and the designs of course were eye catching. Because it's not available at our supermarkets we bought the variety pack online to make shipping worth it. Unfortunately, neither of us liked the taste of any of the options. The fruity flavor was the only one that we could tolerate. Maybe a good option for those following strict diets but this wasn't for us.
Feedback
Improved texture and flavors. Make a smaller sampler pack or option to buy in local supermarkets.
The definition of cereal inherently comes from grains or grasses so the concept of a 'grain-free cereal' is a bit too incompatible for my taste. What's next, a 'plastic-free plastic'? Oh wait, brands already market this way.. When your first ingredient is a 'milk protein blend' and 'sweetener blend', one might question the onslaught of buzzy health claims. Even if we ignore the unashamed marketing for a moment, this product just doesn't do what it sets out to do and tastes like a chemistry lab that robbed you. If you really want to eat healthy, save your wallet from this bastardized version of processed childhood cravings for something real/whole-food based.

Was very excited to try the cereal but unfortunately the artificial sweetener taste was not great for me. Quite overpriced for a small box in my opinion. Ended up giving the cereal box to a friend. If sugary cereal is a treat you love and don’t mind the artificial sweetener taste, give it a taste!
I really wanted to like this brand, given their mission and their amazing packaging design. The cereal just did not do it for me. I found it to be VERY protein-y and have that strange after taste. There are a ton of other brands that are doing protein cereal much better.
Feedback
Less chalky, protein after taste.
I bought these for my niece because she loves cereal and I wanted to find her a healthier alternative. I bought her the variety pack so she can try them all and she absolutely LOVES all 4 flavors - especially the cocoa! Love that these taste so similar to the big brands but without all the garbage!

First things first: this is obviously not as good as something like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese's Puffs, etc. But it's also not trying to be! It provides an experience similar to that of eating cereal, but with more protein and less sugar. Some flavors are better than others, so I'd recommend trying a variety pack first. I also recommend adding fruit – bananas and/or blueberries are often good additions – to sweeten it up and make it more of a complete "meal". I'll often add some chia seeds for additional fiber as well, as Magic Spoon actually has less fiber than some conventional cereals. Magic Spoon is also great on top of oatmeal or yogurt, as a less calorie-dense alternative to granola.

Sell more flavors in stores and bring prices down :-) I'd be far more likely to purchase this regularly if it were a bit cheaper and more easily accessible. At almost $10 a box and with only a couple of flavor options in-store, it's a pretty rare purchase for me even though I like it a lot.

Not sure how people think this tastes amazing - it doesn't taste of very much at all. Yes, like cardboard. Good for fiber?
I was not a big fan of Magic Spoon. I always consider the better for you element of a product when tasting it, but even with the benefits, I did not like the taste overall. I tried a variety pack of Fruity, Cookies & Cream, Peanut Butter, and Frosted. I would say of all of them I liked the Frosted the best.
Feedback
The overall taste just was not there for me.
Bought a mixed pack to start - frosted, fruity, cocoa, and cookies & cream. Packaging is great - funky and reminiscent of childhood. Definitely nailed the packaging component. Frosted - not sure about this flavor. Leaves me wanting more. May it's because frosted flakes are SO SWEET, your taste buds are overwhelmed and you aren't looking for flavour. Fruity - the aroma on these is tremendous, and definitely reminds one of the classic fruit loops smell. The taste is not as great as the aroma, but still an improvement on Frosted. TBD on Cocoa and Cookies & Cream. Overall, I give it a 3/5 because I am not sure I feel full, particularly having the recommended serving size. Maybe if I had the equivalent of 3-4 servings I would get there. Makes me think the recommended serving was chosen just to hit the keto target for net carbs.
Feedback
Make it more filling, or adjust the recommended serving size to provide a more accurate picture of the nutrition for a dose that will fill you up. Not sure the pricing is in line with the value this product offers.

Got it for my kids, if nothing else just to add to their normal cereal to get them a little protein. Oldest kid hated them all. Younger kid is good with it 50/50 with her regular cereal. Works for me
Feedback
The sweetness and taste seem fake or artificial.
Love the concept, hate the delivery. I ordered the variety pack and couldn't finish all of the flavors because they were so strange. Not bad... just strange. I think their mission to redesign cereal is admirable, but they need to make a product that you actually want to reach for in the morning.
Feedback
Taste! Was really not a fan of how these tasted.

Great ingredient list, but the flavors aren't always for me. However I LOVE the cinnamon!
Wanted to love this… but I just didn’t. It’s not as tasty as the “bad” cereal and as an adult I’m only eating this stuff as a dessert, so I won’t be purchasing again.
Feedback
Try making a more “healthy dessert” cereal, I would eat that upppp.
