Fantastic suitcase. I bought the Lojel Cubo Fit plus the Cubo medium size. I have just completed a 10 week trip across Africa and Europe doing 11 different countries on 16 different flights and my Cubo medium Lojel has performed superbly. The expansion zip worked worked well to fit in all my last minute souvenirs to bring home. The expansion material is thick and secure too. Well worth the money as I intend to use these for life. As soon as you purchase one, register your warranty and receipt online. Just a few TIPS: the surface can get lightly scuffed through the luggage handling process. In my experience, this is inevitable for any type of hard cased suitcase. I bought a fitted suitcase protecter in a random luggage store, but later realised it was a slightly loose fit. At that point, I didn't think too much of it. The protector sagged at the bottom and when my baggage helper was wheeling the suitcase in Venice, he didn't realise the bottom corner of the protector got caught in the wheel which seized the wheel up and therefore the wheel was dragging on the cobblestone streets and wore down the corner wheel. When I returned home, I reached out to Lojel customer service asking them to send me a new wheel part and that I was happy to pay for it (seeing that it our fault) and they sent me out a brand new wheel part within a few days, complimentary! It was super easy to remove the old and install the new wheel. Great service from the Lojel team! I bought a new and better suitcase protector from an online discount platform, this time with a zip-up bottom, better fit, and the material was thicker, kinda like a thin version of a wetsuit material. I used this on my Cubo Fit for a separate 6 week visit to South America, also numerous flights. When I returned home, I noted it protected the surface perfectly and didn't sag or stretch out of shape. Also, for added protection, I purchased wheel protectors from an online discount platform. My last tip: the tallness of the cubo Fit is great, however, not so great if you have lower back problems. I have 2 bulging discs in my lower back and lifting the Fit lengthways with both arms, on or off security scanners, lifting in and out of vehicles, I could feel it pulling at my lower back. But that's just me. I found the Medium sized easier to manage in regards to my back. The difference in my scenario came down to the height of the suitcase, not the width. Honestly, I'm super happy with my Lojel Suitcases and would recommend them to anyone that intends to travel short or long term. Reviewing as a purchaser from Australia. Cheers!
