Lojel Reviews

2.8

Lojel earns mixed reviews: its luggage often performs well—with smooth, gliding wheels, sturdy shells, clever top-opening Cubo design, bright colors for easy spotting, and useful expansion—yet recurring flaws and failures raise doubts. Reviews cite stuck or flimsy handles, misaligned or tight zippers, undersized linings on expansion, wheels and parts failing (sometimes early or after storage), and a much-criticized warranty/customer service experience; buyers weighing design convenience and maneuverability against durability and service issues should choose carefully.

  • I have the carry on and there are things I love and things I don’t. I mainly got it because the wheels are incredibly smooth. I have a bad shoulder so pushing a carry on can really aggregate my injury. What I don’t love is the top opening only. I find it doesn’t really align well with the interior flap. For the price I would have expected abit better if I’m honest but I’m still giving in 4 stars.

  • I have had my Lojel for a little while and I understand that it is a hard sided suitcase and that that has its advantages but I find it incredibly frustrating to deal with. It really won't close. You have no wiggle room. The clasps also get stuck. I would not purchase another one.

  • I am a bit shocked to see the low reviews here! I did research when I purchased this back in 2023 and it seemed like a brand that people who had them were really into. It was hard to choose between the clamshell and the Cubo, which I ended up buying but I’m happy with my choice, especially since it expands. This is my first hard shell suitcase, I don’t have much to compare it to! It does scratch easily, but I don’t think it’s unique to this brand. I love how smooth the wheels are.

  • I purchased two of the Lojel Voja suit cases; a checkin and large size. Unfortunately the cases arrived just as the pandemic began and it was over a year until I was able to use the larger size case. During the first trip, one of the wheels fell off and I realized it was missing 1 /4 screws at the wheel when it was manufactured. I submitted a warranty request and they mailed me a new wheel with screws and assured me the larger screws would hold the wheel in place. I should have known better but now the wheel has fallen off again and I can’t get a response from Lojel. I have upcoming travel I’m wishing I had purchased a more reputable brand. Save your $$$!
