Reviews mention

  • Luxurious, fast-absorbing textures
  • Evocative, sophisticated fragrances
  • Consistent, nourishing hydration
  • Elegant, sensorial experience
  • Modest, non-transformative results
  • Occasional fragrance-induced sensitivity
  • Underwhelming winter dryness relief
  • Inconsistent lotion richness

L'Occitane En Provence earns positive reviews for sensorial, high-quality formulas that leave skin soft, hydrated, and beautifully scented, though results can feel modest and some scents irritate sensitive skin. Reviews also note that while textures absorb cleanly and the Verbena and Almond collections delight, the brand underwhelms for severe winter dryness and divides opinion on value.

  • Tried out the Youth Hand Cream & I truly fell in love. I hadn’t tried their other hand creams but this one immediately softened my skin & visibly made them look nourished. It smells really nice, not too much not to little. It’s non-greasy. It’s on the pricier side for a hand cream but you get a lot of product. I would absolutely recommend.

  • I have used a variety of scents of their hand cream over the years! They are high quality and smell fantastic!

  • Love, love, love their hand creams! My only con is that some of the scents make my skin feel a little itchy/sensitive. Otherwise, I love nearly the whole collection they offer.

  • I absolutely adore all their hand creams. The almond scent is to die for, but I think scents like neroli are slept on! They are truly nourishing. The immortelle line works, but I think you can get more for your money elsewhere. Pro tip, if you’re ever in France, take a trip down to Provence to tour their factory. You get lots of goodies, and the on-site store is waaaay cheaper than anywhere else!
