L’Occitane En Provence earns positive reviews for sensorial, moisturizing formulas—especially its hand creams, Verbena line, and Almond Shower Oil—so the brand is good at delivering soft, nourished skin with elegant, non-greasy textures and refined scents. Reviews also flag drawbacks: high prices, occasional insufficient winter hydration, some scent sensitivity/itchiness, modest results from certain skincare (Immortelle), and a notably poor in-store experience at the Jacksonville Town Center location.
Honestly I really love this brand. I think they have super high quality products. I've tried their hand cream and their shampoo and conditioner, and all of them are great. My only issue with this brand is the price point, I would not say it's an accessible brand by any means.
This is a brand that gets a lot of hype and im kind of on the fence about it. On one side the products are of very nice quality and smell really good, but at the same time I don’t know if I can really justify the price. The products are nice but they don’t give me wowing, impressive results.
I first saw this almond shower oil posted everywhere online and I really wanted to try it for myself. Now that I’ve used it quite a few times, I actually do love it! It leaves my skin feeling so soft. It also has a nice light smell, nothing too strong!
I really love this hand cream. It’s incredibly moisturizing without feeling heavy or greasy, and it absorbs quickly into the skin. My hands feel softer, smoother, and more nourished after each use. It’s perfect for everyday use, especially when my hands feel dry, and it leaves them feeling comfortable and cared for. Definitely a staple I keep on hand.
