Liquid Death earns polarizing reviews: many praise its crisp still and sparkling waters, edgy tallboy cans that help non-drinkers blend in at concerts, and recyclable aluminum packaging; others call it “just water,” note metallic or flat tastes, and dislike sweetened flavors and the recent source change to Virginia. Fans highlight flavors like Mango Chainsaw, Severed Lime, Berry It Alive, and teas (Armless Palmer/Dead Billionaire), while critics cite bitter stevia aftertaste, limited carbonation, non‑resealable cans, and inconsistent flavor quality.

I am not usually a sparkling water fan, at all. But Liquid Death is the exception. It was refreshing without being bitter in a way that other sparkling waters can be. Plus just the look of the brand is interesting, it gets people’s attention successfully.

There are some added sugars which I don’t love, but possibly unavoidable as that may be why these waters aren’t as bitter as others. I would also love to see more flavors at some point.
i tried the original plain flavor and it was alright. it tastes just like the water in my bathroom sink just in a can. it was nothing special to me.
Feedback
definitely consider the cost when purchasing if you believe it will be worth it to you.
Going into this experience, I wasn’t sure how to feel. I wasn’t sure if it was going to be seltzer, flavored water, or what — but it was just water. Nothing special.
Feedback
Possibly trying different flavors instead of plain water.

I’ve tried liquid death a few times! Compared to other drinks in its category I think this tastes pretty good and not extremely fake tasting. I like that the cans are made from recycled materials!
Feedback
I don’t think there is much the brand could do better. Just keep working on the flavors to make it taste more natural.
Fun packaging with a great taste! The water is so fresh.

I was skeptical of this water but I have a thing for aesthetic packaging! I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. I am very picky about my water and this lived up to expectations.
Feedback
Definitely try it. It’s worth it!

Love the can! Stays colder than plastic bottle
Love the packaging, love the branding, love the recyclability of the aluminum cans ... just wish there were more bubbles!

As a huge fan of sparkling water I appreciate the "sparkle". Missing it just a little too much to be a Superfan of Liquid Death, sadly!
High quality water with sustainable packaging, what else can you ask for?!
Great taste and very creative packaging. I also love that it comes in aluminum can.

The flavors and flat/sparkling indicators can be hard to read sometimes, so double check before buying.
Honestly it tasted sort of sweet to me.

At the end of the day it's just plain ol' water. I do prefer drinking water out of a can, as I think it stays/gets cooler. Branding is cool and I like that it avoids plastic
I dont see anything special. Like water.

Was skeptical of the price when I bought one of these at a festival. But I do love their brandings and the cans. Super crisp water, but it is just water at the end of the day.

Love the sustainability of the aluminum packaging!
If nothing else, you have to give them credit for finding a new angle on packaged water. Fun packaging, clean taste - nothing exceptional, but worth the occasional splurge.
Tastes like regular water, but the packaging is cool and fun to drink out of
HOPPING ON THE LIQUID DEATH TRAIN! I love how ubiquitous this brand is and how they've leveraged buzz and branding to effectively stand out as an emerging water brand (a hard space to dive into).

I was thoroughly quenched after drinking Liquid Death at a music festival- highly recommend!
