I'll be honest, I went into this a little skeptical. $78 for a t-shirt is a lot to ask, and I wasn't sure it would be worth it. It's still an expensive garment but I'll be honest, these are now my favorite tees I own and reach for them constantly 🙈 I got the Margo Tee in white and the Pointelle Slim Fit Tee in black, both size small. The Margo is as good as they say -- the fit is just perfect, the fabric is soft, and it washes really well. The Pointelle tee is beautiful too, those little details are so pretty! Overall I'm genuinely impressed by the quality and would definitely return for elevated basics!

The internet is right about this one. I've owned both the white and the black Margo for over a year now, and they've genuinely earned their spot in my rotation. The cotton holds up beautifully wash after wash, the fit is flattering without being clingy, and the fabric still looks as good as it did the day I got them. If you're building out a basics wardrobe and trying to decide whether the price is worth it, I'd say yes. This is the kind of piece you reach for constantly and don't have to think about. My one note, and the reason I'm not giving it a full five stars, is the length. It sits a little higher than I personally like, especially compared to other tees I own. That's a taste thing more than a quality thing, so depending on how you like your shirts to fit, it may not bother you at all. An easy recommend!

I had heard of the infamous Margo shirt on various blogs stating that Leset had the best t-shirt. I bought a white and black Margo shirt as the basics are always worth it. The material is thicker than most Old Navy and Gap equivalents. It's a little boxy and the length or shirt would work well with high waist or medium waist. I think the shirts are flattering for all types of bottoms - lace mini skirt, wide legs, etc. I also purchased a pointelle shirt which as a very delicate detailing. First impressions are great - but hope they can hold through multiple wearings. Due to a return, I had to contact the customer service and they were responsive and easy to work with.

I first bought the pointelle top and bottoms and appreciated them enough to purchase more outside-friendly clothing. Love that this is made in America, has a lot of 100% cotton/natural fiber options, and generally built to be wardrobe staples. I am already finding myself reaching for these pieces as the basics in my wardrobe- I love that it is low-key but still feels luxurious. Not sure about sewing perfection though (see photo 2/3).

Overall I really like the quality of Leset clothing. My favorites are anting pointelle - so soft! It is a high priced brand so it’s best for great basics that last and go with many different outfits. Exchange/return process was easy.

I picked up the Kyoto cotton barrel leg pants in brown and a matching margo t shirt in a cute beige. I felt SO chic traveling all over Japan in this set paired with a jean jacket. The pants especially felt really fabulous and I could tell were of a much higher quality than the usual cotton staples in my closet. The only thing I worry about is shrinking. They fit perfectly right now and I'm terrified to wash! Will likely do hand wash in cold water.

Leset is one of those brands that makes you feel like you’ve finally found the perfect version of a basic. Everything they make feels considered, from the cuts to the fabrics to the proportions. The prices are definitely (!) on the higher side, so I recommend waiting for sales, but when you do invest, I think the quality really shows. Starting with the Arielle Pocket Pant, I have them in olive and they’re one of my favorite work pants. They drape beautifully, feel loose and comfortable, and the pockets make them actually functional (yay pockets!). They look polished but feel relaxed, which is my favorite balance for workwear. The Margo Tee is another winner. It’s a slightly boxy t-shirt that feels thick, structured, and not at all see through. It keeps its shape through washing and drying, and the sleeves have that perfect shape and length that make it feel elevated instead of basic. It’s one of those pieces you put on and instantly notice how well it’s made. I have this in a few colors. The Lauren line is made from a soft knit, and I have a black tank from this collection. The fit is incredibly flattering, fitted but not clingy, and feels like something you could wear for years. Since the knit can snag, I’ve stuck to the tops rather than the pants, but the line itself feels luxe and effortless. Then there’s the Rio line. I own both the midi tank dress and the viral stirrup leggings, and I love both. The fabric feels like a ponte material that smooths and flatters while still being comfortable. It’s structured enough to look pulled together but easy enough to move in. The one miss for me was the Kyoto line. The cotton felt stiff and a little noisy, not the soft and easy fabric I was hoping for. Was a little surprised. Maybe it would soften after washing, but I ended up returning mine. Sizing wise, I’ve found everything fits true to size. I’ve referred to their product size charts as well and felt that they were accurate. Overall, Leset makes some of the best quality basics I’ve found. The cuts are consistently flattering, the fabrics hold up well, and the pieces always feel intentional. The prices are steep, but the quality and fit make them worth watching for when they go on sale. I’m always curious about their new arrivals because every season, they find a way to make minimalism feel exciting again.

I got the Kyoto Carpenter pants in brown. I ordered them in size M (I'm usually a size M), and they're a bit smaller than expected (I wanted them oversized). There is also a bit of extra fabric around the crotch, which I don't love, but not enough to not wear them. I'm excited to see how they age.
