Hair Care

Kristin Ess earns largely positive reviews for delivering salon-like results—softness, volume, and elevated scents—though performance varies by hair type. Strengths include standout texturizing and thickening sprays, effective purple shampoo/conditioner, and chic, pleasant-scented formulas; weaknesses surface around scalp tightness or dryness, heaviness and residue that’s hard to rinse, occasional frizz or flyaways, and mixed results from gloss/glaze and some conditioners.
