Each of these fragrances feels like cult-classic potential. This brand has experienced some internet fame but still flies largely under the radar. Independent, small batch, female POC-owned, and local to Brooklyn. I think the founder takes her time creating really well-rounded scents that evoke moods, rather than releasing huge collections of fragrances that are all middle-of-the-road. Her whole selection is beautiful and long-lasting, and there’s really lovely storytelling around each fragrance. This brand is worth the luxury prices and worth the occasional wait (as all the scents are hand-mixed and bottled). “The Poet” is sure to be in my rotation for years to come. Highly recommend!
