These shoes are excellent for hiking in warmer climates and even mid temperature. I’ve taken them to banf and hiking in the rainforest in Costa Rica. They’re sturdy and make it easy to wear if there’s water. They are not waterproof so if you hike in colder climates or want a larger barrier between the elements/water I’d go for a different style. The quality of keens is outstanding though!
I liked how the keens used to be made. They had a wider toe bed. I still have my red ones from years ago. They were so helpful for hiking and a break from your hiking shoes. I wasn’t a fan of the new ones that were narrow.

Trekking around in these has been a treat! The sole is comfortable, supportive, and thick so you can’t feel any of the little rocks or uneven terrain underneath your feet. I like that it’s more of a high top to protect your ankles and it also helps keep dirt and debris out of your shoes. The color is nice a neutral (bonus for having the logo blend in with the rest of the shoe). The toe cap is protective but not rigid or uncomfortable. It is true to size, but if you want to wear thicker socks you should size up. Overall, great shoes for hiking.

I've had the Uneek drawcord sandals for a few years now, and I absolutely love them. I have them in rainbow, and they are unique (just like the name), and super comfortable. I get compliments on them all the time. I have a very high arch, so it's hard for me to find shoes that are actually comfortable, but these are great. They're perfect for walking around in warm weather when I don't have my toenails painted!
