Really bad packaging. Could not use it. There was no info in the packagig on how to use it. Had to ask cc online. Tried to do it like they said, but the glass lid did not stay on the serum, so all the fluid got out of he bottle.. Had to throw it away.. :(

Got the Industrial Eyeshadow Palette and Lips in Vanity and Retrograde. Unfortunately, this is a case of extremely good brand design and marketing for not great product. The eyeshadow colors are beautiful and vibrant, but they crease noticeably within an hour. After five hours it had creased so much I just washed it off because it didn't look anywhere near good at that point. The lips shades are comfortable, but not nearly as saturated as it looks in the pictures online. Retrograde is flattering on me despite this, but when I put on Vanity, I can't even tell it even has any color. I'm honestly really sad because I don't usually spend much money on makeup, and these products looked really good. Pictures are my lips in the shade Retrograde and my eyeshadow after about 3 hours. :(

Hi ! I just got the industrial lipgloss box ( all three colora for $100 ) on Amazon. I tried and it’s was very average lipstick for the high price, I got a similar lipgloss long time ago from the brand Flamar, and it’s very similar, not much difference on the smell and the gloss and the texture itself for very little money, it was not more the $5. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ISAMAYA IS A SCAM! get a safe organic lipgloss and add some mica powder and play with it ! Use nice cream on your face with retinol and hyaluronic acid … you don’t need to buy this expensive make up brands that are not even great. Just pure packing

DISCLAIMER: This review is for products from their Industrial 1.0 launch & original Lip Lacq, which is all before their 2025 rebrand/reformulation, so hopefully the products have improved since then. (I don’t mean this to be shady - clearly other people feel the same way that I do about the products, which is why they reformulated!) When the brand launched, I bought an Industrial Set, which includes the Industrial 1.0 Palette, the Rubberlash Mascara, a Lip Lacq, and a Browlacq. I’ve recently purchased the Skinlacq Glow Serum and some more Lip Lacq’s (original formulation). The formulas all are very bad. What you are paying for is the branding. The eyeshadows are patchy and not blendable (I’ve tried so many ways to try and work with them) The Lip Lacq’s come in pretty, glittery shades but make your lips super dry The mascara runs like CRAZY The Browlacq is basically useless on thick brows (which are the real test) The only good formula is the Skinlacq Glow Serum, but you do need to be particular in how you use it. (They say you can use it as a topper but this pretty much should only be a base layer. Otherwise it melts everything that was put before it. But it does make your skin really glowy and poreless, so it’s a great primer.) Beautiful packaging, but almost all of the formulas are misses. I’m not sure if I’m willing to spend more money on their reformulation to test it out.

Products reviewing: Industrial palette 1,2, and black Lip Lauq. In a world of venture capital backed beauty brands trying to become “your” go-to (insert classic, you already have 5 at home product) that you will (hopefully) repurchase dozens of times, Isamaya proves that being unique is more impactful. My first interaction with Isamaya was through targeted ads. From the first ad I saw, I was immediately hooked. It was like the second coming of Illamasqua - curated, intentional and unique editorial-style collections. This is the true Isamaya DNA - curation and limitation. If you work creatively, having some restraints - such as formats, color story, etc. allows for better, fully developed results. Isamaya does an amazing job making sure every color of every collection works together. You can make mud, but it would be the best mud ever. The edgy, alternative and helmut lang/McQueen reminiscent branding nods to who this brand is for. I’m not the biggest fan of her lipstick tubes, but I love the sheer cheekiness. Oh right - makeup. Industrial 1 - beautiful colors, with unique and rich formulas. It’s a mix of formulas, but all are amazing. Looks good on everyone, shades like the UV purple highlighter are sure to be your fan favorite. The glittery nebula of her black cream pigment is also a stunner. Industrial 2 - 10s across the board. A luxe glitter palette with the richest, no-corners-cut formulas. Extremely friendly to all skin tones. This is the best palette you can buy if your goal is to look like a showgirls background actor. You will never find a palette with pigments this good. Lip lauq (darkend plum color) - plumping effect works - only feedback is that the dark purple/black pigment can clump when sitting on the lips. This is by far my favorite makeup brand. A true creative’s creator brand. I have more products on my wishlist for Christmas. Will update if Santa is sweet enough.

(Note: This review was also submitted to Isamaya’s site but not sure if it will be approved since it’s not a 5 star review) The company executes their marketing and packaging well but for the money I spent on the products I've got(wild star lipstick/pencil set (outlaw) & the spur pencil stick) I did expect higher quality. I suggest the company should focus on improving their lipsticks and lip pencils since they cost so much. The lip pencils are great but they break off super easily. They are not retractable so do be careful when you first use the product. (It took several twists for the lip pencils to appear btw not sure if this was purposely done or if both my pencils were defective.) The wild star lipstick (color - outlaw) which I super excited for fell short. I love lipstick (especially red) and have used glitter lipsticks before, this one has wayy too much glitter. It made the feel of lipstick super rough and a less than smooth application. I would recommend to the company toning it down on the glitter; it takes away from the quality of the product a lot. Also, the color is not as red as shown in the pictures advertised but I could have lived with that if the lipstick was good. I feel like Isamaya has the potential to be a powerful makeup brand but right now they need to focus less on their packaging and more on improving the quality of their products. Charging $50 & $26 for lipsticks/lip liners only to receive cheap quality products in return is a let down. I would love to give the brand a second chance if they do work on improving their formulas.
