Impossible Foods delivers convincingly meat-like flavor and texture according to reviews, with burgers, ground “beef,” nuggets, and sausages cooking and performing much like real meat and often pleasing meat eaters. Reviews also flag drawbacks: a processed ingredient list with high sodium, occasional artificial or smoky aftertaste, digestive discomfort for some, and inconsistent texture across products.

  • I enjoy the Impossible Whoppers. After I went vegetarian I didn't think I would eat a Whopper again.

  • The meatless chicken patty wasn’t bad and tasted very similar to the real thing.

  • I've had numerous products from this brand and all were amazing. The Impossible Whopper at Burger King is great for a fast food burger. The Impossible "ground meat" was easy to work with and is often far cheaper than it's competitor Beyond Meat. Finally, I've tried the Impossible Savory Sausage, which I made biscuits and gravy with - which did taste slightly different than a normal biscuits and gravy would but was still a great substitute. The texture of all these foods were definitely different than animal meat, but it was close enough that it could satisfy the meaty/hearty craving of having the original version. I've eaten a lot of meat replacements over the years, but Impossible Foods consistently gets it right. My partner is a huge meat eater and is also happy with the texture/taste of the replacements we've had from Impossible.

  • I have been a vegetarian for over 25 years so I am not sure how closely this relates to a real meat taste. I thought I would be excited about this product line but I found that I have grown to love my meat alternatives over the years and dont want to taste flesh. I find myef wondering if my meal got mixed up with real meat and end up not eating. I think this line is ideal for those venturing into vegetarianism or those who want to reduce their meat intake.

  • Love the Impossible burger! Have tried most other meat replacement options, but find this one the best.

No availability in Europe. Lobby better for permission to use soy leghemoglobin ! :)

  • Impossible is one of my favorite brands - as a un-proclaimed vegetarian this has single handily changed the way I enjoy food. While it shouldn't be a substitute for a healthy diet of fresh veggies and other treasures from mother earth, it comes in handy when I have a burger craving.
