Impossible Foods is my go-to brand for plant-based food. They have the closest taste to the traditional options. I always get the Impossible Whopper at Burger King, and similarly, I like the Impossible burgers and chicken for at home.

Impossible Foods delivers convincingly meat-like flavor and texture according to reviews, with burgers, ground “beef,” nuggets, and sausages cooking and performing much like real meat and often pleasing meat eaters. Reviews also flag drawbacks: a processed ingredient list with high sodium, occasional artificial or smoky aftertaste, digestive discomfort for some, and inconsistent texture across products.

I really do enjoy impossible products. I know they aren't really healthy but its one of if not the best meat substitutes on the market and they are constantly working on the formula and you can tell! Very impressed as a vegan, it truly tastes like the real thing

Impossible foods is my top brand for meatless products. Everything I've tried has been exactly what I was needing and expecting, and I'm always happy to see new products from them fairly often. The brand has worked extremely hard on product consistency and flavor, and it's definitely paid off. They've done such a great job, the chicken nuggets played a huge part in turning a friend into a vegetarian. It's easy to give up meat when you don't have to give up flavor! The ground meat works sooo well in taco recipes. I've also used it in pasta sauces, and it worked out very well!

Over 5 years ago I decided to go Vegan specifically due to my love of all animals. I was not always a big meat eater but of course after I stopped eating meat. I missed it a little because I still cooked it for my husband. But the moment I missed meat the most was when hubby turned on the BBQ and threw on the hamburgers & hotdogs. With all the vegan products out there, there wasn’t 1 burger I truly liked! Well, this year I haven’t had too much “burger melancholy” because I’ve added Impossible Foods to our BBQ menu and my cooking. They’re burger 🍔 tastes just like burger 🍔 and I couldn’t be happier and they’re easy to cook. So for those you looking for the latter this summer. I’d definitely recommend it. I plan to try their chicken tenders chopped meat next. Will let you know. PS: Their website is wonderfully informative and provides all the details in their products and where to find them given they’re not every where yet. It’s also easy to navigate. PSS: Burger King offers the impossible burger among their burgers. BUT, I found it to be overcooked and thus doesn’t do it Justice. So try it on your own first.
