Reviews mention

  • Close, comfortable shave performance
  • Weighty, ergonomic razor handle
  • Sophisticated, memorable body-wash fragrances
  • Effective extra-strength antiperspirant
  • Inconsistent blade sharpness quality
  • Occasional nicks and irritation
  • Lubrication strip gets gloopy
  • Blades may rust quickly

Harry’s earns largely positive reviews for close, comfortable shaves, sleek handles, and standout scents (Fig, Stone, Redwood), though blade sharpness and consistency divide users. Reviews praise the razors for sensitive skin and unisex use and laud the Extra-Strength Antiperspirant for reliable sweat control, but report issues like occasional nicks, quicker dulling or rust, itchy first use, a gloopy lubrication strip, and mixed results on closeness versus Gillette/Flamingo/Schick.

  • nick city! the razor is so cute and I wanted to love but the quality just isn't there. i've used on my legs and my bf has used on his face and we both cut ourselves more than once. big woof from me.

  • I do love the razors and razor heads. Easy subscription- not a huge fan of their skincare.

Honestly the packaging is lackluster. Should definitely consider marketing as a gender-neutral product

  • My husband has tried it a few times. He wasn't impressed with the razors. He does like the gels/lotion products.

    Feedback

My husband is partial to the Gillette razor that he can turn on in the show. He has extremely stubble facial hair.

  • The prices are great, considering just how expensive razors can be.

Simple, yet functional. Nice to be able to alter your needs on a monthly basis.

  • Works well. I bought it for my boyfriend but got one for myself now. Provides a really close shave!

  • Writing this for my husband... he is obsessed with all things Harry's brand. I purchased him one product when making a target run and shaving cream was on the list and I think he has tried every product sense then and now only exclusively buys Harry's! I think he would give them 10/5 if he could. :)

  • Harry's is my absolute favorite razor subscription service. Their razors give a shave that's unique to only this brand. They give the closest shave I've ever experienced and glide so nicely across skin. I have sensitive, razor burn prone skin and with these razors I don't have to worry as much about irritation. The prices are excellent as well. All around amazing.

When I used the shaving cream a while back I was shocked at how awful the quality was. I'm sure they've improved the formula since then (I really hope) so I can't comment on it's quality and performance of the past few months. But when I did use it, it was exactly like using the $1 aerosol cans of shaving cream from a dollar store.

  • Grew up with my dad using Gillette products, and so learned how to shave with those products and stuck with it ever since. After being hammered with ads for single-blade razors, I went down a rabbit-hole of razors and shaving techniques as I never really enjoyed shaving. Plus, Gillette blades are insanely expensive for some reason. Well, the since blade razor turned out to not be for me, whether it was my technique - or the product - I simply wasn't able to get used to it. I kept cutting myself and also didn't get the close shave I wanted. So I returned to cartridge razors and tried a few different brands. Harry's won from them all. I absolutely love their shaving gel and after shave balm. It's moisturizing and provides a very smooth and comfortable shave compared to my old Gillette foam. The razors are ok, they are quite good for the price and give me the close shave I'm looking for. I also tried some of their other products like the shower gel, face wash, and deodorant, all of which are ok at best. I didn't love the smell and overall felt 'meh'. Their handles and razors themselves also feel cheap, but good enough for the price.

I wish Harry's made a more premium, heavy, metal handle that I could invest in. I would also be interested to see if they can come up with a more premium line of some of their product while keeping the prices fair/affordable. Until then, I'll still continue to buy their razors, but look somewhere else for my daily essentials.

  • Great results but I find the "handle" a little "clunky" to hold & shave. Wish there was a shorter handle version

  • Such a great gift for everybody. As long as someone wants to shave something, Harry’s is the way to go. It’s just so nice honestly and worth all the hype they get

  • My husband and I both have been using Harry’s razors for years. I find they work much better than most female razors and I love that they’re frequently available as Costco.

  • Per my husband, they are more about essentials, almost feels like they are the Gillette from 20 years ago, and are not the best ergonomically. They focus on the cost and convenience factor. So he's not a fan because he will pay more for all-around best quality.

  • I used Harry's razors and shaving cream for about half a year. Though the razor was nice, I couldn't see a super large difference between it and competitors at around the same price point. The shaving cream, though, was absolutely amazing. It is my go-to shaving cream because of how smooth it leaves my skin feeling.

  • Love these razors! I actually prefer these ones as a woman, great quality and pretty colors!

  • It is a great razor and when you do the trial it can send you a small thing of shaving cream as well as the razor the razor head and a case for the head of the razor. However my advice be extremely careful this razor is very very sharp and I cut myself the first three times I used it. You've been warned

  • It's a very solid, good-looking razor. I love how affordable this product/brand is for the quality that you get. I have never had any issues with the blade or the handle. The only "gripe" I have is that, if you can, it's probably worthwhile to spend a little bit more money for a more luxe product, but if you rarely shave and you just want a really solid, inexpensive razor then I think this is a great buy.

  • Nice smells and does the job. Redwood is a favorite.
