Harry's Reviews

4.3

Harry’s earns largely positive reviews for close, comfortable shaves, sleek handles, and standout scents (Fig, Stone, Redwood), though blade sharpness and consistency divide users. Reviews praise the razors for sensitive skin and unisex use and laud the Extra-Strength Antiperspirant for reliable sweat control, but report issues like occasional nicks, quicker dulling or rust, itchy first use, a gloopy lubrication strip, and mixed results on closeness versus Gillette/Flamingo/Schick.

  • I've used a ton of Harry's products and happy with all of them. The stars are their body wash (stone especially) and aftershave. Their razor is pretty good (def better than bigger brands like gillette and much cheaper). Their shaving cream is okay but probably not specifically designed for thicker facial hair I have, and peppermint shampoo is great.

  • Harry's makes top-quality grooming items. While it is marketed for men, I find the quality attractive to me as a female, and it is very affordable. I also have given gift sets from Harrys to male friends and family, and they were quite pleased due to the quality of the items. The quality makes the items long-lasting, and they work well.

  • My husband and adult sons like the 5-bladed Harry’s shavers and enjoy the timeless look of the razor handle. However, it needs to stay competitive in price with another well known brand the other one works just as well.

  • Harry’s does a lot of things well. I know that shaving is the primary focus, but the rest of their product line is worth trying. I have tried the shave gel (good), after shave balm (outstanding), moisturizer (pretty good), all the soaps, all the bodywashes, the scalp scrub (great), the 2 in 1 shampoo (okay), and the shaving razor and blades. The razor and blades are good, but might be flimsy for some people. I basically use them for touch up after my first pass with a safety razor. The deodorants are just okay. I tried redwood and stone and once was enough for each. and The soap and bodywash aromas I recommend are: grove (excellent) wildlands (also excellent), and stone (highest possible recommendation. Same goes for the soaps. The face wash is a daily staple that I would highly recommend. Most importantly, they seem to actually care about the causes they support. It’s cool to see their focus on mental health and lgtbq+ rights.
