Reviews mention

  • Compliment-magnet signature fragrance
  • Seamless, buildable cream blush
  • Natural, defining brow gel
  • Gentle, lightweight cleanser
  • Inconsistent shade inclusivity
  • Sheer, short-lasting formulas
  • Fragile, leaky packaging
  • Variable scent longevity

Glossier earns praise in reviews for effortless, no‑makeup makeup staples like Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the universally complimented Glossier You fragrance, which many call a signature scent. However, reviewers flag inconsistent makeup payoff and longevity, polarizing skincare efficacy, packaging flaws (leaking body oil, cracking lipstick caps, messy Cloud Paint tubes), reformulation disappointments (Balm Dotcom, You perfume), limited shade range, and some products feeling sheer, basic, or short‑lasting.

  • One of my favorite skincare and makeup brands for years. They've had very few products that have missed. My favorite is the holy grail, Milky Jelly Cleanser.

It's been a minute since we've seen a 'WOW' product that takes into account skincare first. Excited for the makeup but looking for a differentiator.

  • Glossier is very similar to MILK makeup imo. I'm a huge fan of the latter, so it's nice to find similar brands. It relies heavily on assuming the use already has smooth skin, since neither brand focuses on heavily pigmented items, but that's also where its strength is. The moisturizing elements of the products help it glide on flawlessly, and is super forgiving even when applied on the run. One of the best blush ranges in the market.

    Wish it wasn't online exclusive

  • Glossier’s You perfume is my absolute favorite scent. It’s my go-to perfume in the spring/summertime that has a sweet/ mild floral smell but not too overpowering. The packaging is also beautiful and the bottle is easy to hold. Can’t speak to their other products but love this one.

    Wish the perfume lasted longer

  • Cloud paint is my favorite item from glossier. It’s lasted me forever, blends beautifully and I love the packaging. I’m happy there’s a new CEO.

  • I really like cloud paint, but I’m not a huge fan of their skincare.

I wish the products weren’t as heavily scented.

  • I have many products from Glossier and love all of them. My top 5 are: You fragrance (10/10. Get complimented on this fragrance by everyone- boys, girls, grandmas, moms, dads) boy brow( perfectly fills in my very light brows without being too much), balm dot com( I have this in 4 different tinta but the birthday cake one is my favorite- it smells delicious), concealer(perfectly covers any blemishes I have) & perfecting skin tint(blends so well into my skin I even wear it in the dead of the summer without it feeling too much)

They just increased pricing, and the packages are already a bit small.

  • I love the you perfume. I get so many compliments on it and it smells different on everyone.

    More variety of products

  • The perfume is so nice and I always get compliments. It’s very fresh and clean smelling.

  • I have only tried the boy brown from Glossier. It works great but for the price you can easily find dupes that work just as well. I'd like to try a few of the body care products, maybe that would change my mind. Otherwise, Glossier only attracts me for the packaging and marketing.

  • The products I have ordered from there have been quality and service has been consistent. I had an issue with a faulty product (leaked during shipping) and their customer service was great.

I haven’t been shopping there as much because of the steep price increases. Even before inflation. My go-to product has increased in price by $4. No thanks.

  • I wear Glossier products on a daily basis. You typically can't go wrong, especially at this price point. My daily essentials are boy brow, their perfume called YOU, Lidstar eyeshadow, and Futuredew. I get so many compliments on the dewiness of my skin, all thanks to Futuredew!

  • branding is fun and products are good. the body hero lotion is amazing and the lip balms are really smooth.

    Feedback

the "balm dotcom" lip balms tend to separate after a while into oil and wax.

  • I have purchased multiple products from glossier. I absolutely live by the boy brow, glossier you perfume, and balm dot com. I have recommended this brand to anyone and everyone. My husband loves having a minimal makeup option with their stretch concealer.

  • I want to love it, but sometimes I feel it is a little overhyped. The Cloud paint can be very pigmented and has stained some of my clothes, but I love the Boy Brow.

  • I absolutely love Glossier! Their milk jelly cleanser is the only one I use now, and their perfume smells amazing.

  • I've been shopping here for years! Really good for the no-makeup makeup look, and very versatile pieces. I love the mascara and boy brow - they're effective and cute while not being overpriced.

I wasn't crazy about the eyeliner, because I felt like it wasn't super opaque, but that's just my personal opinion.

  • The branding is fabulous, and they have basically created a new category. I just think that there are now better options out there for a lot of the products at this pricepoint.

  • My go-to skincare and makeup for years — prices are usually $15-30 and many products have been consistently better than $50+ alternatives I’ve tried. Can’t say enough good things. Top products with a spot in my daily rotation are priming moisturizer, boy brow, cloud paint blush, generation G lipstick (+ maybe haloscope highlighter). Mileage may vary more on newer products — they didn’t become staples for me in the same way — but core bestsellers are still unbeatable. Awesome customer service and easy free returns every time too.

  • Not so great for sensitive skin, especially when you have hormonal acne and on daily tretinoin use. There’s definitely additives for scent (which smells great!) but can be irritable for some people. Be cautious and do a test patch. Works for some and not for others. Which is completely expected!
