Reviews mention

  • Effortless, natural makeup effect
  • Beloved, compliment‑magnet fragrance
  • Lightweight, comfortable textures
  • Iconic, chic packaging
  • Sheer, low‑coverage bases
  • Inconsistent scent longevity
  • Occasional packaging fragility
  • Sticky gloss, drying lipstick

Glossier impresses in reviews for delivering easy, natural-looking makeup—standouts include Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the much‑praised Glossier You fragrance—while drawing criticism for ultra‑sheer coverage, inconsistent longevity, and packaging flaws. Reviews say the brand is good for “no‑makeup makeup” days and everyday scent, but skincare feels basic and shade range and recent reformulations (You, Balm Dotcom) disappoint some users.

  • Love my perfume! I get compliments every time I wear it. Very soft and subtle, perfect for everyday wear.

  • I’ve tried a range of glossier makeup + skincare at this point and have never repurchased anything other than their perfume (which is amazing). To me I know if I don’t repurchase something it was just meh and I can either find a more affordable dupe or a better product altogether. Their perfume is incredibleee though and has been my scent for the last few years, always get compliments.

In terms of skincare I’ve tried the masks and cleanser, which I felt I could get similar results for less elsewhere. In terms of makeup I didn’t love the formulas of a lot of what I tried (haloscope, cloud paint, mascara, gen g, lip gloss). I did like boy brown but was able to find a $4 dupe at the drugstore lol

  • even though i’m hesitant of any brand that gets as much hype as glossier did, i do really like a lot of their products. several have become staples in my daily makeup routine. i think the products are a good quality, even if the prices are a little more expensive than i would like.

    Feedback

i would love to see some new products from them!

  • Used to love Glossier but it is so expensive for low quality

    Quality snd customer service

  • Glossier is a great first step into beauty, but as you outgrow it you realize how overpriced it is. Almost like a training bra for skincare and makeup. I love how approachable the brand is and how much thought they put into the packaging details. Their products are a delight to use. But they aren’t what I would turn to if I was looking for results.

  • I shopped at Glossier when it first began and it had an absolute grip over me. Previously I had bought their body wash and perfume and overall the products are ok. The body wash (Body Hero) was oil based if I am correct but when lathering it just didn't feel great. The perfume, I was very disappointed. I know the popularity is rising again due to TikTok but it smelled like baby powder on me. A lot of the makeup is cute but I'm not sure if I would purchase again.

Just overall better personal care products.

  • Love their makeup! Their cloud paint, lipstick, and lip gloss are all staples in my makeup routine. Amazing customer service as well!

    Feedback

Haven't had a lot of success with their skincare products, especially the exfoliating skin perfector.

  • I love everything about the Glossier experience. While there are some cheaper alternatives, I have always been pleased with the quality of products from glossier.

  • loved the glosses great travel size

    Feedback

    lip stick was too pigmented

  • I tried their concealer and foundation and not really a fan. The Foundation didn’t give much coverage and the concealer broke apart on my face. Great shade match tho

  • Very enjoyable packaging, the sticker was a nice touch! I got the boy brow and cloud paint and continue to use the products in my daily routine 3 months later-

    Feedback

The cloud paint is very easily spillable if you leave it in your makeup bag or somewhere that puts pressure on the tube.

  • Makeup is good for the price, but not amazing. Birthday cake lip balm is my favorite

  • It’s truly depends on the specific Glossier product we are talking about…. But I have to say that Boy Brow has changed my life. Everyday, all I wear is SPF, mascara and boy brow. For YEARS!

  • I love the boy brow! So good. It stays soft, but doesn't move. No crunchy brows! I also love the lidstar. It makes eyeshadow easy for people who are not artists. The Haloscope is great too! A nice, natural highlighter.

    Feedback

A longer applicator for the boy brow would be helpful.

  • I'm always so torn by this brand, I love their cloud paint and lidstar but the brand needs to really evaluate their values and align their actions to them. They are not an inclusive brand; they often overcharge for branding and are constantly trying to become a luxury brand when that doesn't fit their products.

Stop focusing on the immediate earning potential and evaluate what kind of brand you want to be. It is 2022 and fewer people are buying products solely for the packaging without considering the brand. Expand your color ranges, evaluate your prices, and do better.

  • I love their balm dot com! Nice, clean, and simple makeup and skincare that make my skin look and feel amazing!

  • The products are a mixed bag; I've found products I love, but products I dislike. That said, the marketing + packaging is on point!

    User interface on website

  • I LOVE GLOSSIER. Their whole image and vibe is just immaculate. I routinely go to the shop in weho and always get the best service from the friendliest people I've ever met. I love that this is a female led and run brand. It makes it worth more than just the products itself. I live for the boy brow and the tube blush.

  • The glosses and toner are amazing

The makeup is a little too minimalist for me. Have to have perfect skin to pull off most of it
