Reviews mention

  • Compliment-magnet signature fragrance
  • Seamless, buildable cream blush
  • Natural, defining brow gel
  • Gentle, lightweight cleanser
  • Inconsistent shade inclusivity
  • Sheer, short-lasting formulas
  • Fragile, leaky packaging
  • Variable scent longevity

Glossier earns praise in reviews for effortless, no‑makeup makeup staples like Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the universally complimented Glossier You fragrance, which many call a signature scent. However, reviewers flag inconsistent makeup payoff and longevity, polarizing skincare efficacy, packaging flaws (leaking body oil, cracking lipstick caps, messy Cloud Paint tubes), reformulation disappointments (Balm Dotcom, You perfume), limited shade range, and some products feeling sheer, basic, or short‑lasting.

  • I tried their concealer and foundation and not really a fan. The Foundation didn’t give much coverage and the concealer broke apart on my face. Great shade match tho

  • Very enjoyable packaging, the sticker was a nice touch! I got the boy brow and cloud paint and continue to use the products in my daily routine 3 months later-

    Feedback

The cloud paint is very easily spillable if you leave it in your makeup bag or somewhere that puts pressure on the tube.

  • Makeup is good for the price, but not amazing. Birthday cake lip balm is my favorite

  • It’s truly depends on the specific Glossier product we are talking about…. But I have to say that Boy Brow has changed my life. Everyday, all I wear is SPF, mascara and boy brow. For YEARS!

  • I love the boy brow! So good. It stays soft, but doesn't move. No crunchy brows! I also love the lidstar. It makes eyeshadow easy for people who are not artists. The Haloscope is great too! A nice, natural highlighter.

    Feedback

A longer applicator for the boy brow would be helpful.

  • I'm always so torn by this brand, I love their cloud paint and lidstar but the brand needs to really evaluate their values and align their actions to them. They are not an inclusive brand; they often overcharge for branding and are constantly trying to become a luxury brand when that doesn't fit their products.

    Feedback

Stop focusing on the immediate earning potential and evaluate what kind of brand you want to be. It is 2022 and fewer people are buying products solely for the packaging without considering the brand. Expand your color ranges, evaluate your prices, and do better.

  • I love their balm dot com! Nice, clean, and simple makeup and skincare that make my skin look and feel amazing!

  • The products are a mixed bag; I've found products I love, but products I dislike. That said, the marketing + packaging is on point!

  • I LOVE GLOSSIER. Their whole image and vibe is just immaculate. I routinely go to the shop in weho and always get the best service from the friendliest people I've ever met. I love that this is a female led and run brand. It makes it worth more than just the products itself. I live for the boy brow and the tube blush.

  • The glosses and toner are amazing

    Feedback

The makeup is a little too minimalist for me. Have to have perfect skin to pull off most of it

  • Aesthetically pleasing products but unfortunately their sustainability is non existent. I like their boy brow and cloud paint - their quality is decent and the price point is on the high level based on the product size you get.

    Feedback

Look into sustainability and environmental impact. Make your small sized products bigger so they last longer.

  • Glossier has good products at a decent price point. I’ve gotten their boy brow, cloud paint, lipgloss, mascara, and their perfume. I like it all and find that it’s nice for a makeup minimalist like myself. The reason this is not a 5-star review is because multiple times I have ordered from them and received the wrong products in the mail. It’s frustrating to wait longer for something than you should and also to have products delivered that are the wrong shade and unusable.

    Feedback

Better shipping/ correct products being delivered.

  • Great prices and decent products! I think some of their products are a bit over hyped, but their makeup definitely worth trying.

  • Great for everyday wear! Love the cute minimalist packaging!

Expand colour lines and options for more skin tones and types.

  • I love the stretch concealer and skin tint duo. It’s perfect for a no makeup makeup look. It keeps your face looking natural but covers a lot of the things you want to cover. Also love the cloud paint blush. Perfect with the skin duo as well!

  • Such a fun no make up makeup brand. Great quality products and great for young teens learning about makeup and skincare.

    Feedback

    Sometimes product formulas aren't solid.

  • I've used Glossier since 2016 and in my opinion they have 2 products that really stand alone - Lash Slick & Stretch Concealer. Lash Slick separates the lashes, never clumps, and adds length, but the best part to me is how easy it is to remove. The fibers come off with warm water in an instant. Their Stretch Concealer is the perfect amount of coverage for me (very light), and makes my undereye area look hydrated.

    Feedback

Besides the two products mentioned above, the rest of Glossier's products that I've tried have been middle-of-the-line. I've tried their face wash, serums and masks, foundation, eyeshadows and liners, and perfume. All have been good, not great! But I'll keep coming back and trying new items because of my two faves.

  • Have been using boy brow for years and keep re-stocking it! Also, have the Glossier blush but personally, it's not pigmented or long-lasting enough, and won't purchase it again.

    Feedback

As mentioned, they could improve longevity on the skin, especially the blush, it fades a bit too quickly in my mind.

  • I love their products, but you get very little product for what you pay for. Shipping is usually pretty quick too

  • I love Glossier's branding and think they're doing something very different from other skincare and makeup brands. They're more of a lifestyle brand, but they do have some fantastic products that I love: specifically boy brow, their eyeshadows, and their lip products.

    Feedback

I love Glossier makeup products, but in my experience, they dry up quickly. I wish they had a longer shelf life, especially since you have to purchase Glossier directly from their website. That being said - I do love the brand and their products and if they're your go-to and you're not ordering off multiple platforms, they're definitely worth the money.
