Reviews mention

  • Effortless, natural makeup effect
  • Beloved, compliment‑magnet fragrance
  • Lightweight, comfortable textures
  • Iconic, chic packaging
  • Sheer, low‑coverage bases
  • Inconsistent scent longevity
  • Occasional packaging fragility
  • Sticky gloss, drying lipstick

Glossier impresses in reviews for delivering easy, natural-looking makeup—standouts include Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the much‑praised Glossier You fragrance—while drawing criticism for ultra‑sheer coverage, inconsistent longevity, and packaging flaws. Reviews say the brand is good for “no‑makeup makeup” days and everyday scent, but skincare feels basic and shade range and recent reformulations (You, Balm Dotcom) disappoint some users.

  • I’m a huge fan of the perfume and love that you can get it in a solid that is easy to pop into a purse when traveling, etc. It’s not overwhelmingly perfume-y, just subtle and feminine. I recently had an order stolen from my porch and the customer service could not have been more gracious in replacing it quickly and without question.

The packaging is cool and very aesthetically pleasing, but also kind of wasteful — so much extra material (eg rubberbands, specialized boxes, etc)

  • I like this brand ok, some of their products seem low quality

    Feedback

I love their boy brow product

  • Love their blushes and their sheer matte lipstick, the packaging is cute but I have had a couple issues with it - one of the lipstick caps will never stay on so the product inside was damaged, and one of the tubes of blush popped at the side seam so product seeps out of it if not careful. But the formulas themselves are lightweight natural and easy to use.

  • The products are pretty mediocre for the most part. The skincare is a definitely better than the makeup, but honestly there is much better skincare already out there (and at a much lower price point).

  • glossier has done an amazing job with branding and packaging their products and designing their stores. however i feel they pay more attention to this rather than the performance of their products. my favorite products from them are their fragrances. i have also heard good things about their body oil cleanser but haven't tried it

    Feedback

i think their pricing is high for the amount and payoff of the product you get. their makeup is underwhelming you might as well just wear no makeup. however their fragrance is delicious and beautiful

  • Some products amazing others are not. Love boy brow and lip products. Cheek/blush/foundation are a thumbs down

  • I used to be a huge fan of this brand but feel like their products are not as effective as they used to be. I've found better alternatives.

  • Love their lash and brow products. Their milky cleanser is amazing. I am glad they have finally made it an option to opt out of the plastic bubble mailer.

  • I used to be obsessed with glossier and their products and then I drifted and started using some other products. I have recently gone back to glossier and I don’t know why I ever strayed all of their products are so great and such high quality. The branding is also so cute and fun!

    Feedback

My only complaint is how hard it is to get glossier in person, the easiest way to get product is online.

  • I’ve tried the Glossier’s boy brow and it did a good job for a natural/subtle looking, but I must admit the amount of product is small, the texture is a bit too creamy, and it started becoming thicker after a few weeks.

  • The lip products are perfect if you don’t typically like lipstick and want a blotted look. The lash slick and brow flick are amazing products as well.

  • I’ve used their skin tint and one of their lipsticks. Their skin tint worked great for me as I love light skin like coverage. But the packaging was laughably cheap for how expensive it is.

    More luxurious packaging

  • Only like the You candle. Oh well. Concealer provides no coverage, skywash in blue has no pigment. But you smells soo good, but only as a candle.

  • I don't love! I ordered a bunch of items to try - from the balms to the tint to the highlighter - and I was really not impressed with any of the items! I would much prefer other brands than Glossier. I really wanted to love this brand, but I did not find that the products were worthwhile.

  • My favourite Glossier products are balm dot com, futuredew, and boy brow. They apply really well without looking like I'm wearing any makeup at all. I'm happy they're now available at Sephora, but I do wish the formulas were "cleaner" and formulated without certain chemicals like synthetic fragrances.

Would love to see Glossier reformulate its products to align with Sephora's clean beauty standards.

  • I love glossier even though some of they’re things are a bit pricey it’s defiantly worth the splurge in the end, I just got the new makeup bag and I’m so excited!

    Feedback

It is in the pricey side so I order every so often but the non dot coms are everyday friendly

  • One of my favorite makeup brands! It’s like the definition of clean girl aesthetic. I am not into super full coverage face makeup, and this brands face products are perfect. They were one of the first brands to bring on the popular liquid blushes and contour. They have great liquid shadows as well.

    Feedback

Keep an eye out for this brand in Sephora! They recently just got into the store, and so much better than only being online.

  • Glossier is over hyped and over priced for the most part, you’re paying for aesthetic packaging- these days that’s not far and few between. The boy brow gel is *chefs kiss*, and You is divine (however I’ve read the formula was recently changed). If you’re an indie brand fan I’d look elsewhere.

    Formulate better products.

  • To preface, I obviously know that Glossier's mission really was for "no-makeup" makeup-- which I love. I feel as though this brand was very innovative for the time and I adored everything they had. It was very expensive so I didn't have access to it until I was out of high school. I have tried the liquid eyeshadows, solar paint bronzer, and brow products. Out of all of these, the only thing I did like was the eyeshadow... and even then, it is NOT pigmented enough for darker skin tones. I am very pale, so the low pigment products *do* work for me, but I cannot say the same for my roommate. There are still so many Glossier products I have yet to try, but I feel as if nothing I have tried has been worth the price point. :(

    Feedback

Needs more pigment for people of color. Wish the price point was more accessible. The branding was, and still is very appealing.

  • I only ever tried their lipstick, they are ok, really nice shades but kind of dry out the lips by the end of the day. The price point is ok so worth it to try a new colour I would say.
