Glossier impresses in reviews for delivering easy, natural-looking makeup—standouts include Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the much‑praised Glossier You fragrance—while drawing criticism for ultra‑sheer coverage, inconsistent longevity, and packaging flaws. Reviews say the brand is good for “no‑makeup makeup” days and everyday scent, but skincare feels basic and shade range and recent reformulations (You, Balm Dotcom) disappoint some users.

I really like some of the products but not so much others. Boy Brow is solid but I’m not as much of a fan of the skin tint because find it to be oily. Trying to figure out if the concealer is drying or not but not sold yet. Trying to love and always trying new products because hoping to fall in love!

Really great variety of products and easy to use. Well suited for makeup novices and regular users. Balm Dotcom, Futuredew, and Cloud Paint are favorites. Also super easy to gift and come in cute packaging

Larger product sizes would be appreciated!

Big fan of the boy brow and cloud paint. I can't give it a full 5 stars because I don't feel like I've tried enough of their products. I like the concept of this company though and generally think they offer high quality goods.

As a marketer, I respect and admire Glossier's successful branding + marketing efforts. But as a consumer, it's all very underwhelming. At least for the products I've used (Super Pure, Priming Moisturizer, Generation G, and Lidstar). The products themselves don't seem to have that impressive factor, but somehow their strong brand identity makes it all forgiveable?
In general I’ve found that Glossier products, particularly their makeup, lack staying power. Probably great if you want a very minimal look, not so much if you want any type of real coverage. Gorgeous packaging though, and the Boy Brow is a truly exceptional product which I do recommend to anyone looking for a great brow gel/filler.
I'm worried that Glossier has me totally hooked. I LOVE the You perfume -- and it became a joke in grad school that I was always wearing it. And I'll probably never stop buying stretch concealer. Every other concealer I've tried has made me break out, or has pilled against my skincare. But stretch concealer always works and looks amazing.

I always WANT to love generation G, but it's just a little too chalky.

i like the website but think the presentation is maybe better than the product.

I wish they were more sustainably focused, but not sure this is their mission.
I think I buy most of the products because the experience is slick, delivery fast, and visuals appealing. But when digging into the formulations actually they are nothing special.

I'd love for make up to function as make up and sometimes the au naturel look just means that the products seem like not to work. Eg. foundation does not really provide any coverage.
**Full disclosure I used to work retail for this brand but am no longer affiliated to them in anyway** Obviously there's a lot to be said about the hype of this brand. They definitely revolutionized the way we think about and shop for beauty and skincare. That being said, while they may have started a wave there are a lot of brands out there now that accomplish what they have and more (i.e. are cleaner, more sustainable, better shade range, better price point) Some products that I think are worth your money: - Solution: Good mix of AHA/BHA acids at a good price point compared to Paula's Choice or Biologique Recherche. Very good entry level chemical exfoliant. - Milky Jelly Cleanser: a great two in one super gentle makeup removing cleanser. Bottle is v nice to travel with so you don't have to bring two separate products (makeup remover and cleanser). Have not used another cleanser that I can so blatantly rub in my eyes to remove makeup and not feel any stinging/discomfort etc. - Cloud Paint: that tiny ass tube will last you a literal lifetime and is super easy to blend with no makeup experience you can use just your fingers and looks so natural. - Mega Greens Galaxy Pack: such an OG product!! One of the first products I honestly ever remember buying that I actually noticed a difference with. A must have for grimy NYC summers. Really detoxes without tightening or stripping your face. Some products that I do not think are worth your money: - Serums: See The Ordinary/Coco Kind/Andalou naturals - Body Hero Cream: full of mineral oils, petroleum etc so so greasy does not absorb easily. If you like the scent get the oil wash that product is sick. -Lidstar: so many other brands that do this kind of eyeshadow way way better, w better pigments and for cheaper. See Colourpop/NYX/Lottie London.

The biggest pull to Glossier is the community + cult following that they've built on social media. They are one of the few brands I follow on Instagram, and it's effective and hypes me up for their next release.

Despite them coming out with new products consistently since my first purchase in 2016, I constantly reach for the same things when adding to my cart: boy brow, milky jelly cleanser, balm dotcom, cloud paint. Are there brands that do these products just as well? Probably, but Glossier's packaging, quality consistency, and customer service team keep me buying from them.
When Glossier is good it is so good (boy brow! ultra lip! lash slick!). And when it's bad, it's just meh meh meh (almost all the skincare).

I have very sensitive skin and have never run into a problem with any of their products. I've used body lotions and washes, face washes and lotions, makeup and balms. Their balm dotcom lip balm is fantastic and comes in a neutral fragrance, which is great for the ultra-sensitive, as well as tons of fun, limited-time scents--I've never had an issue with them. For lotions I particularly love their daily perfecting cream for all around coverage.

They have a sunscreen but I wish more of their lotions and skincare had SPF.
I bought you perfume for my wife, and it is one of the best scents outside of Rouge 540 that I have ever smelled on a woman.
I tried their boy brow product after seeing a plethora of advertisements around the internet, and it did live up to its advertisement! It made my brows stand out, but it didn't feel like too much product or like I had fake brows—it was great!
Glossier is always an amazing experience. Not only is the store breathtaking, but also the products make you travel into space and time by becoming your best self. If you like to have a simple yet effective skincare routine, then you should for sure invest you time and money in glossier
Sweet sweet Glossier…. I think they’ve lingered long enough to earn the cred that initially came from just being cute and of-the-moment at the right time. Been using Glossier products for 7+ years now, the Boy Brow brow pomade is a must have staple in my makeup routine. Have also tried the milky jelly cleanser and cloud paint liquid/cream blush but neither of these hooked me like Boy Brow has. I also tried the mascara and was not impressed, didn’t have much effect and felt like it came already dried out. Glossier’s packaging is cute, shipping is reliable, innovative products that make me feel like the woman I want to be 💫
I love their balms so much and will probably never stop buying them solely for the smell and pigmentation! I have smelled their perfumes before and they are great but I have yet to try their makeup but seems like a great and reliable product
All time favorite liquid blush! Love how pigmented it is, bleandable and buildable. Can use is as base and put another blush on top... will look so good! For me it is a 10/10 product that I use everyday.

The tinted moisturizer and new cleanser were NOT for me, which is a shame because I have had wonderful experiences with the milky jelly cleanser in the past. Unfortunately, they reformulated the cleanser and it leaves my face not feeling as clean after. The tinted moisturizer completely broke out my skin and felt greasy to the touch.
I own a few products of this brand and I love the feel in my skin, I do have sensitivity skin and I haven’t got any allergies or break out. Scent is subtle but smells good!
