    Freestyle

Updated review: I had an initial experience with Freestyle that I now understand to be the result of an unusual and single-time shipping snafu. To their credit, Freestyle reached out to remedy the situation. We really like these diapers for a number of practical reasons: they withstand long periods of wear (we use them for both day and overnight) without leakages, they fit our baby well in a way that seems as though the back is high (stuff you don't want escaping does not squidge out!), the closure straps have a little big left at the end so you can easily pry them open when it's time for a change. We also like the designs; they've dispensed with overly cute and landed on fun. Originally my shipment was lost/ not taken by the shipping carrier which led to a massive shipping delay without any communication from the brand. As a result the diapers had barely arrived on my doorstep before I was bombarded with marketing emails to purchase more items and complete satisfaction surveys. I hardly had a chance to bring the package inside let alone enough time to use the nappies adequately to form an opinion. **This should not be taken as the norm, for any readers.**

    Rothy's

I love how many style and color options there are for Rothy's because it creates a lot of comfortable flexibility in shoe options to complement many outfits. Rothy's are very comfortable and easy to clean.

The pointed-toe flat feels noticeably narrower than the rounded toe, which makes it less comfortable to me.

I love the women's daily multivitamin. The company has taken pains to include the vitamins you want to see in a multi and produced it to have a pleasant, fresh scent. The soft capsule form vs a hard pill makes it more palatable too. The recurring subscription makes supply a no-brainer.

    Feedback

The prenatal vitamin does not have as much folate per serving as competitors, which deterred me from adding it to my rotation.

    Allbirds

I have owned a pair of Allbirds for long enough that the initial delight and new-product joy has worn off, but I am still a huge fan of the absolute comfort of these shoes. They are great inside and outside the house. Caring for them is so easy--I love that I can wash them in the machine, which adds to their longevity.

    Feedback

Sizing seems off. They run small. You will find a pair that fit, but I could not rely on my usual size to pick something that would work.

I love my Margaux pumps so much I have them in multiple colors to wear with different outfits and through different seasons. They are incredibly comfortable. I can wear the pump (low heels) for several hours with no discomfort and had no trouble running from meeting to meeting.

BaubleBar is a reliable site to visit for off-the-moment, in-style jewlery that won't break the bank. Most pieces come in multiple colors, which makes them versatile and helpful for building up a flexible rotation of jewelry.

    Feedback

The pieces tend to tarnish or degrade after a season or two of wear. I don't expect the majority of pieces to last long term.

    Onsen

I am continually delighted by how soft, plush, and absorbent these towels are. I made the switch to Onsen towels from traditional terry cloth and have not looked back. They do their job (drying) quickly and efficiently and are also quite aesthetically pleasing hanging to dry or on a towel rack.

    Feedback

I have caught a jagged nail on the waffle pattern, which led to some snags in the fabric. The snags don't degrade the product performance but it does mar the visual appeal (very, very slightly). That's probably more of an indictment on my nail care than the fabric, but to me it does indicate that the fabric is somewhat precious.

I love the US products. I particularly like the variety of "types." There is a classic iteration which is great for drinking, cooking/baking, and adding to things like cereal. I also like the barista-style Oatly for "fancy" at home coffees and teas because it's so good at frothing.

Found out the hard way that their UK product is not gluten-free! Never make assumptions.

I have very sensitive skin and have never run into a problem with any of their products. I've used body lotions and washes, face washes and lotions, makeup and balms. Their balm dotcom lip balm is fantastic and comes in a neutral fragrance, which is great for the ultra-sensitive, as well as tons of fun, limited-time scents--I've never had an issue with them. For lotions I particularly love their daily perfecting cream for all around coverage.

They have a sunscreen but I wish more of their lotions and skincare had SPF.

I loved how easy it was to shop for delightful looking blooms. The checkout process was also very intuitive and made shopping for and shipping flowers as gifts simple.
