Reviews mention

  • Effortless, natural makeup effect
  • Beloved, compliment‑magnet fragrance
  • Lightweight, comfortable textures
  • Iconic, chic packaging
  • Sheer, low‑coverage bases
  • Inconsistent scent longevity
  • Occasional packaging fragility
  • Sticky gloss, drying lipstick

Glossier impresses in reviews for delivering easy, natural-looking makeup—standouts include Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the much‑praised Glossier You fragrance—while drawing criticism for ultra‑sheer coverage, inconsistent longevity, and packaging flaws. Reviews say the brand is good for “no‑makeup makeup” days and everyday scent, but skincare feels basic and shade range and recent reformulations (You, Balm Dotcom) disappoint some users.

  • I don’t personally use Glossier so this is written from my wife’s perspective. The Milky Jelly Cleanser, which is gentle and effective, but it’s the Super Serums, that work wonders on dull and tired skin.

Nothing. To my knowledge, you all nailed it!

  • Love, love, love! Great value and amazing products. Love the branding, sustainable packaging. Plus they use a beautiful range of models to see products on different skin tones.

Futuredew is a my one beauty product that I can’t live without. As the name suggests, it adds a beautiful dewy layer to a fresh face whilst still feeling very light.

  • For the past four years all I wear is glossier make up - except for mascara. I use their foundation, concealer, brow products, blush, eyeshadows, and lip products. I’m someone who isn’t crazy into makeup, but still need to look presentable and sometimes even cute for a date. I love how easy it is, you can put everything on with your fingers and it almost literally melts into your face. Not having to use tools like brushes which you have to clean and takes up space is part of the big sell for me. It also just looks natural without trying too hard. They have fantastic customer service, I once bought something online and it didn’t match me - they told me to keep it and refunded me. Their flagship stores are very well designed and it’s a fun experience to go in there. They’re making innovative products that are an at affordable price, of high quality that last a good amount of time - that’s a big win in my view. The makeup industry is strife with products that are disgustingly expensive just for brand name. glossier ranks up high in my book on usability, brand and product.

I wish they had more shades, it is definitely not an inclusive brand. As a perfume aficionado, I do not think their perfume gives off the same vibe as their brandof being laze faire, natural and feminine. Their stores are sometimes over powered by too many employees standing around and it can be uncomfortable, I get that at high times they are probably needed but having them all on the floor during slow times can be unnerving as a customer.

  • Absolutely love their boy brow gel. Am also a fan of their perfume though it can be cloyingly sweet at times.

    Feedback

Would love to see a wider range of fragrances - I think their current perfume is at a great price point for the quality and I love the design / packaging.

  • I've tried a number of products over the years from their lipsticks to boy brow and in skincare serums, moisturisers and sunscreen . The ones that I keep buying are the sunscreen (very light and love the smell) and the moisturiser, the rest is average and you pay for the packaging more than the product.

A problem is store management and how they make people queue to get in when some products are OOS. It happened to me a few times that I have to queue to get in and the product I'm trying to buy is OOS which is a total waste of customer's time and not good experience

  • Their lip balms are lovely & obviously the packaging is so cute. Their skincare isn’t really anything to write home about.

  • It’s really but I’m not crazy about it.

    Feedback

Love the cologne not strong but like others said it doesn’t last long, so I had to try for myself and bought the cologne and other products from glossier, like the cologne smells good the way I like but doesn’t last long on you.

  • Yeah, it’s makeup. It’s fine. Not worth the hype IMO.

    Feedback

I’ve seen people line up outside the LA store, which obviously got me interested. But after trying some of the products it seems to be 100% marketing hype ( nothing unique here to justify the price over and above a drugstore line). Am I missing something?

  • Glossier balm dotcom are truly the best. I keep a few around the house so I always have access to them.

  • Usually great products, packaging and overall customer experience. Some products have declined in quality recently such as the mascara.

    Feedback

Make-up products are generally better than skincare.

  • Overall I loved the smell of You on me but I am giving it a 4/5 for a few reason. 1) It does have a slight peppery smell that might be over powering to some people. 2) I felt as though the smell only lasted moderately throughout the day and I wished it had better longevity. 3) The price point feels like it could be slightly cheaper for the type of perfume you are getting.

  • I have tried nearly everything. My favorites are the perfecting skin tint, could paint, and cheery lip balm (which they don’t sell anymore). I used to use stretch concealer but over time I have stopped reaching for it. I still use the wonder powder and to be honest it’s alright, I just don’t feel like buying another one.

    Feedback

I am truly said the cheery lip balm is no longer being solid. Anytime I’d apply it, I would be questioned (by my crushes) “how are your lips are always so glossy?”

  • Glossier perfume is my absolute favorite scent in the world. Every time I wear it people ask me what it is and that’s what I look for in a perfume. Also the branding is amazing. Have purchased again and again!

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE GLOSSIER it’s my favorite skincare brand and i adore there lip balms sooo much I purchase there stuff quite often

    Feedback

    Feedback

Have some good makeup products, wish they did more sales as they rarely have them

  • my favorite products are the balm dot com and you perfume. however, i haven't tried the new formulation for either of these yet

    Feedback

don't expect any highly-pigmented products. i wish they still had the glossier play products, which did have more pigment and fun colors

  • I purchased (namely): Perfecting Skin Tint, Stretch Concealer, Cloud Paint (Storm shade), Solar Paint, Moisturizing Moon Mask, and Eau de rose face mist. - Perfecting Skin Tint: extremely light, which suits me perfectly. In my opinion, it's perfect if you're looking to make your skin tone more even, and aren't looking for heavy coverage. If you do want coverage though, I would suggest to go for something else. - Stretch Concealer: I didn't hate it, but it's quite greasy and creases a lot. It's quite good to cover dark circles or pimples, but I had to use it in combination with another concealer to make it less greasy, and with finishing powder as well. I think if one has dry undereye skin, it's not necessarily the most appropriate choice! - Cloud Paint: this blush is EXTREMELY pigmented. You reaaaaally don't need to use a lot; a single tube can last you for several months, more than a year, and even more if it's not the only blush you use... - Solar Paint: great bronzer alert lol. I really love this, especially because I am a fan of liquid bronzer as opposed to powder bronzer. I have a pale skin tone and when doing a minimalistic makeup, some liquid bronzers definitely are too pigmented for my skin and make me look like a clown unless I blend agressively lol. All this to say, I really liked Glossier's solar paint, it's just perfect for my skin type and the coverage I'm looking for. - Moisturizing Moon Mask: I like the texture. I put mine in the fridge so it feels fresh and nice when I apply it on my skin, and let it sink into my pores for, like, an hour or so before taking it off. It feels quite good and my skin feels super soft for a few days after taking it off. However, when I apply it, my skin gets red-ish for a few minutes and it burns a little bit. If you have sensitive skin, I would suggest to use something else. I tried Clarins's "SOS Hydra Refreshing hydration mask" and Avène's "Soothing radiance mask for sensitive skin" (which can be purchased in drugstores) as an alternative and they are much more appropriate for sensitive skin - no burning, no redness. - Eau de rose face mist: f***ing loved this mist. It felt so fresh and the light rose scent smelled great... but this product was discontinued, sadly!

International purchasing and shipping fees were very reasonable. The products are rather cheap, but the quality is there. It's definitely worth it to try Glossier out if you like minimalistic makeup. If you live outside of the U.S., I suggest doing a big order with friends and splitting shipping fees, it's even more worth it. I guess the one thing that Glossier could do better is inclusivity in terms of skin type and shade. They could have a bigger variety of shades in makeup for instance-- they go from very light to very dark, but skin undertones don't seem to be taken into consideration!

  • I recently bought a Generation G lipstick in Punch and while the color is perfect, the package literally fell apart: now I have to pull the bullet out in order to twist some product. Cloud Paint is too runny for my taste. That said, I absolutely love the Gen G product and I hope for more shades.

    Feedback

Please make sturdier packaging and make more Generation G shades.

  • This brand is a 10/10. Their statement about making beauty accessible and uncomplicated shows in their products and packaging. My must-haves: Balm Dotcom Universal Salve-Cult following. Fig usually sells out and has the perfect tint for any skin type and shade. Great for all day use and a great gift. Rose is a light pink for a super natural look. Lavender and Coconut is a go-to for lips and cuticles at bed time. Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid-This product works as a moisturizer, quick all over glow if you’re going without make up, or it mixes well with foundation to add a dewy glow. I sometimes use it on my hands, arms, and legs for date night. A little goes a long way as a brow tamer too. Priming Moisturizer Rich-Best for travel when keeping skin moisturized is a challenge and great for all over use. Super Bounce-Soaks in quickly and very effective. Visible difference after use. Milky Oil-Removes waterproof make up and leaves a hint of moisture so you’re not parched after washing up. Stretch Concealer-I never looked back after finding this.. Sheer yet buildable. Great size to carry for touch ups. Very blendable. Not chalky. New Glossier You Rollerball-Always ready to go and never dry. Works great and perfect size.

Great sales and discount offers for friends and family. Quick shipping and simple low-waste packaging.

  • Gorgeous packaging, with wonderful scents. I am obsessed with their 'you' perfume and their skin tint - it's the perfect tinted moisturiser/serum hybrid. All their items work and don't have any useless bells and whistles. I also love their branding - i think it's super cute.

I think some of their packaging could be made of recycled or less plastic based materials. Although their packaging is generally cardboard, there are some peices I find uncessary and just decorative which is a shame, environmentally speaking.
