  • Effortless, natural makeup effect

  • Occasional packaging fragility
  • Sticky gloss, drying lipstick

Glossier impresses in reviews for delivering easy, natural-looking makeup—standouts include Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the much‑praised Glossier You fragrance—while drawing criticism for ultra‑sheer coverage, inconsistent longevity, and packaging flaws. Reviews say the brand is good for “no‑makeup makeup” days and everyday scent, but skincare feels basic and shade range and recent reformulations (You, Balm Dotcom) disappoint some users.

  • The blotted lipstick is amazing and I will continue to keep purchasing. The mascara is not great for volume or drama, but if you like a more natural lash that is very comfortable, it might be perfect for you. The cloud paint is bafflingly pigmented if you consider how natural the rest of their products are — a little really goes a long way, which I appreciate. The bottom line is that if you’re looking for that elevated natural look, this is probably the perfect brand for you. While I like a few of their products, I typically go for more maximalism when it comes to makeup. with that being said, I don’t feel the need to knock off stars simply because I don’t fit into a brand’s niche, especially when they fit that niche perfectly. Glossier does minimalist beauty very very well.

  • Glossier overall has some really high quality and non-irritating (clean) makeup and skincare products. Their scents/body care products are wonderful and one-of-a-kind; they stay pretty well throughout the day. Their makeup is unique and pushes the boundaries of packaging and application. I don't really have any opinion on their skincare, as I found none of the products really had any effects on my skin at all, and they're a bit expensive. Overall, my favorite products are the solid "You" perfume, the birthday cake balm dot com, and the blush.

  • Love the Glossier experience (in-store, especially), and I do love their product packaging and appeal, but even with a rebrand and constant innovation, I can't find a product that I will always go back to and stand by. Which is okay! They change their formulas and are working out the kinks, but sometimes I wish that some of the products stayed the same. I.E. the Balm Dot Com's from 2019 worked way better for my lips, but the new ones don't sit well for my lips, and the FutureDew broke me out for quite some time, even though it was recommended for me. So for now, I can only look, but in the future, I hope to circle back and love a product.

  • I LOVE Glossier. My skin has never felt so soft and hydrated.

  • Glossier's Futuredew Glow Cream is a game-changer for my skincare and makeup routine. It gives my face a radiant and healthy glow that I've always desired. The lightweight texture absorbs effortlessly, leaving a subtle and natural sheen. With nourishing oils and plant-based extracts, it hydrates and plumps my skin, creating a youthful and supple appearance. It's versatile as a standalone or makeup base, and I consistently receive compliments on my glowing complexion. Futuredew is a must-have for anyone wanting a wonderful and radiant face.

  • I used to be a huge glossier fan but overall the products I find less and less effective. Slowly less special as well. I used to buy every product theyd drop. The lip balm packaging falls apart, I spend TONS on the body oil but all 3 that I’ve bought leak and if they get knocked over somehow I lose half of the product (there aren’t enough threads on the cap). The liquid eyeshadows are really patchy and hard to blend for me, and generation g lip always dried out and/or the packaging broke. Lip glosses are sticky and don’t last very long for the price. I do love the perfume, the entire body hero collection (the smell at least). A big thing I don’t like about the company is that they aren’t maximizing their potential. Tons of customers will love and want a particular product but they will tease it and not bring it back. A few years ago there was a pair of glossier slippers on the site. Many comments asked when they will restock. They never did. It’s always disappointing when a company keeps a nice product on the website with no plans to restock. I’m totally cool with limited edition stuff and I know that’s a big glossier thing but it seems they’ve been on a roll with disappointing fans

  • I have never received more compliments than when I started wearing their perfume, now every year I beg which every friend/family/coworker is going to the states for vacation to bring me one home

  • The Milky Jelly Cleanser is out of this world. The texture and the feeling of clean afterwards is unparalleled.

  • Smells amazing and feels luxurious!

  • It feels like glossier is back having their moment! This makes me excited because I love their brand. Every product they make feels intentional. My fav products are the boy brown and their concealer!

  • some of their products are hits, others are big misses...

  • I've been purchasing Glossier products for a few years now. My staple products include their Generation G lipstick , boy brow for a coloured eye brow gel, and their dewy highlight stick. I also love their reusable packaging that their products come in.

  • Great packaging, easy to read descriptions of products. The balm dot com is a forever repurchase!

  • I was gifted one of their sets by my boyfriend for christmas 3 years ago and the products lasted for ages. My favourite products were balmdotcom and the milky jelly cleanser (smells so nice!). I'd definitely be interested in trying out more of their products. The price does seem quite high so I would only really do so if there was any discount or offer. Wasn't very keen on their cleansing concentrate. The smell was potent and puts me off using it. I feel like their success has been driven by their cult following as opposed to quality of product. As a brand, it's incredible how it has created such identifiable brand world that makes you want to feel part of it.

  • I’m into the “light makeup” vibe they have going on. I’ve used their perfecting skin tint, cloud paint, stretch concealer and highlighter. I trust them more for make up vs skincare… not sure that’s entirely fair on my part but I have breakout prone skin so I’m very picky about what products I use for face wash and moisturizer… exclusively non comedogenic products. Detailed reviews of each make up product listed above, below: 1. Perfecting skin tint - good for light coverage, gives you a glowy, dewy look and an even complexion but not going to cover up breakouts or hyperpigmentation all that well. You’ll need something with fuller coverage for that. Love that it’s light weight (doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a ton of makeup) 2. Concealer - medium coverage I would say for covering hyperpigmentation scars. Applies easily, was able to find my right skin tone match as an Indian woman 3. Cloud paint - fun packaging - looks like little paint tubes, good colors, easy to apply (gently dab with one finger) 4. Highlighter - love! Gives your eyes a little pop, cheekbones too.

  • I have tried their boy brow and it is a staple in my collection when I need the extra color and fullness in my brows. It also stays all day!

  • Glossier stands out because they make makeup that's good for your skin. Their products have ingredients that nourish and take care of your skin while making you look beautiful. For example, their Boy Brow not only shapes your eyebrows but also keeps them healthy. Their Skin Tint gives you light coverage while hydrating your skin. Glossier always delivers on their promise of giving you a natural and effortless beauty look while also taking care of your skin.

    Feedback

One aspect that could be enhanced is the shade range of their products. Glossier has received criticism for offering a limited range of shades, particularly in their complexion products. Expanding their shade range to be more inclusive of diverse skin tones would ensure that a wider range of individuals can enjoy and benefit from their products.

  • I love glossier makeup products! I don't really like wearing big colorful makeup looks out in public so this is my goto brand for minimalistic natural makeup! The quality is great and their packaging is so cute!

  • I have tried a few of the cosmetics…. Boy Brow, Generation G matte lipstick, Balm Dotcom, Cloud Paint and the lotion. Overall I really like the packaging and the brand. The cosmetics are decent but not fabulous.

    Feedback

My favorite product is the Boy Brow. It has just enough color to give a little definition without being overwhelming. The Generation G matte lipstick is also nice and not drying. The Cloud Paint looks great when I put it on, but fades very quickly so after about two hours I have to reapply which isn’t convenient. I really don’t care for the lotion consistency or smell. It is the smell that truly does me in. It is overwhelming and not something I like. It smells very artificial and lingers.
