  • I purchased GF collective leggings when they first came out. Initially, the quality of the leggings was great. The brand’s mission statement was also one I really supported. The compression was also very comfortable and there was minimal pilling. I recently purchased them again and was disappointed in the purchase. The leggings have a weird fit and the quality is not the same as I remember.

  • I have two matching Girlfriend Collective sets (in Moss and a dark red that I think is no longer available) and they're my favorite athleisure. I love the pockets on the leggings I find the Paloma bra supportive enough for barre/pilates classes. The bra is long enough for me to comfortably wear without a tank/tee over it, and I think the neckline is really flattering. My only gripe is the leggings don't stay up as well on my waist after a couple years of regular use.

  • I'm an amateur athleisure expert — it's what I wear most days — so I was excited to try Girlfriend Collective out. I'm a big fan of the brand ethos and style, and the clothing turned out to be thick and high quality. However, the compressive, minimally stretchy fabric isn't a great fit for my body type. I found the leggings and bike shorts to be too tight without much give in the stomach area, so they felt more like wearing stiff jeans than athleisure. I think sizing up may have solved this problem, though. Also, be careful not to put your leggings in the dryer, which the brand advises against. I accidentally did so with my bike shorts, and now they have a hole in the waist seam. Out of the three pieces I purchased, the Paloma sports bra is the only one I still have in rotation. I like the compression and thick material, and it is really cute. Overall, I'd recommend the brand with the suggestion to size up.

  • I'm a big fan of Girlfriend Collective, but I think there are some inconsistencies in their products. Some of the products I've had are great and compressive, but others have some design flaws (ex. sports bra that have boob inserts that fall out/move around when you wash it). But I would recommend it none the less if you are looking for an ethically-made activewear brand! They do have great deals during the holidays.

  • Was super excited to try this brand out, but personally I didn't love. I really like the sports bra but the leggings didn't work for me. I wanted something to wear for a 10k but the leggings had a lot of room in the crotch area and it caused my thighs to rub too much. Would be open to try different pants in the future.

  • I really wanted to like this brand because I love their mission but the fit wasn't right for me and I didn't love the feel of the fabric. because the mission is so great I might be wiling to give it another try also the name is great love a women focused brand.

  • Girlfriend Collective stands out for its dedication to ethical practices, inclusive sizing, and quality materials. While there are some considerations regarding sizing and price, many customers find the investment worthwhile for the comfort, durability, and sustainability offered. If these values align with your priorities, Girlfriend Collective is a brand worth exploring.

  • Great material, quality and fit. Girlfriend collective bras are supportive without being too tight. I also like they they all come in matching sets with really cute colors.

  • The workout wear from girlfriend collective is very thoughtfully designed. It might run a bit small, a size large fit my friend who generally wears an XL. The designs are minimal and the colors are flattering and versatile. Seem to hold up well so far too!

  • I love their sports bras - long line, great level of compression, different colors and I love that they are recycled. Mine have held up very well over years. Reasonably priced as well. I wish there was a pure white one.

  • LOVE this company's mission and size-inclusive products! I got my very first pair of their leggings when they were still starting out—all you had to pay for was shipping from (I think) Thailand. Their quality has remained the same, or possibly even improved, as have their colorways and silhouettes. In my experience, a great alternative to companies like Alo for curvier bodies.
