Ghia reviews and discussion

Reviews mention

  • Chic, luxurious packaging
  • Complex, bitter flavor profile
  • Versatile mixing options
  • Convenient, tasty canned spritzes
  • Punishingly bitter aftertaste
  • Murky, cloudy appearance
  • Short post‑open shelf life
  • Inconsistent flavor distinctness

Ghia earns polarized reviews yet proves effective for bitter, botanical non‑alcoholic sipping; many praise its complex, Campari‑adjacent flavor, chic packaging, and canned Le Spritz (especially Ginger and Lime & Salt) for recreating a cocktail ritual, while others find the taste punishingly bitter, murky, or one‑note and say it works better mixed. Reviews also note standout unboxing and gifting appeal but call out inconsistencies across flavors, short shelf life once opened, and sediment/cloudiness in the bottle.

  • Tastes good if you really like gin/bitter cocktails. Expensive for the price and kind of hard to find. I like Kin better

  • taste isn't bad but didn't feel the effects they claim

DEF not a replacement for alcohol because it doesn't have the same effect, not even remotely. but i think it tastes great as a drink to sip on throughout the day. the branding is nice but the label doesn't physically feel luxurious.

  • Obsessed with Ghia. I especially love the Ginger Spritz! So glad they're available on Amazon now too — makes ordering super easy.

  • Amazing packaging, but the flavor is much too bitter for me. I had to add a lot of ice to make it palatable.

    Feedback

Less bitterness, a bit more acid maybe?

  • I tried this brand in an effort to lower my weekly alcohol in take. It sure does the trick! Taste great and everyone asks "whats that" because the branding is so pretty.

    Feedback

    a little less flavoring

  • My favorite alcohol-free alternative. Feels chic, like I am drinking a cocktail. I am obsesses with the spritz cans that are somehow SO carbonated.

    Feedback

Bigger sizes for the spritz cans.

  • Overall, Ghia is one of my favorite non-alcoholic tonics. The original Le Sprtiz flavor is my favorite, and I love the botanical taste. Ghia is a great weekday evening treat!

    Feedback

I found the new Ginger flavor too strong, and I wish the cans / serving size was a little larger.

  • The margarita flavor was a little too salty for my liking. I did feel a little buzz after drinking it, which was nice! Not sure I would buy again.

  • One of my sober friends had purchased these and I gave it a try and was very pleasantly surprised. The flavor was delicious and nuanced and I didn't really miss the lack of ABV (though it would probably make a great mixer if you're not sober)

  • I've tried the Spritz and Gia Ginger, both of which I really enjoyed. When it comes to a fun drink, it's really nice to have something with a bit of fresh bitterness. I found it more refreshing and interesting than something like a zero-proof beer, especially the ghia ginger. I was able to pick these drinks up at BevMo instead of having to order from their website, which is a bonus!

I always wish that fun alcohol alternatives like Ghia were a bit less expensive. Drinks in this "genre" usually cost more than similar canned alcoholic cocktails. I'm still rating Ghia 5/5 because I think the flavor is worth the $.

  • loved this drink and always keep it on hand for me or anyone else non-alcoholic drinks

    Feedback

would love more ideas for ways to mix it with other things

  • As someone who is always striving to drink less alcohol, Ghia has become a staple in my fridge, both the larger format bottles, and the canned spritzes. It's gotten to the point where if I go to a restaurant/bar and it's on the menu, I am ordering it and telling everyone there how amazing it is. The flavor is on point, and it's the only non-alc that actually mimics the feel of drinking the hard stuff.

  • So yummy, so fun, a great alternative to alcohol that feels like just as much of a treat. Had a can last night and making a mocktail with the bottle tonight!

    Feedback

My only comment would be it is very expensive, but hey so is nice alcohol !

  • I love the fact that Ghia brings the flavor of an apéritif without the drawbacks of alcohol and presents it all in an aesthetically pleasing package!

  • I'm a huge fan of Ghia. I did a sober year and their drinks helped me feel comfortable going out and enjoying my night without alcohol. Their branding is icon - high glamour that makes you want to show off the can. The flavors are also really nice, and make you forget you aren't consuming alcohol.

    Feedback

    More variety of flavors.

  • good high-quality drink and felt like a very premium experience, tasted pretty good and i loved the packaging and branding overall! especially good to enjoy with a friend who will appreciate non-alcoholic beverages, if you drink with people who aren't into that they won't get it; didn't feel many effects but very tasty drink

    Feedback

wish this was available on every corner store and a bit cheaper!

  • Cute packaging but the worst taste! So bitter!

    Feedback

Find a way to balance the bitterness

  • Lacks any real depth of flavor. Is a pretty one-note “bitter”. It’s fine as an entry non-alcoholic aperitif but there are better ones out there.

    Feedback

Could use more flavor notes, citrus, alpine, herbs. Could get a lot closer to actual amaros and aperitifs.

  • So. Freaking. Good. Refreshing, and actually tastes like something - I feel like so many drinks that brand themselves as nonalcoholic alternatives end up falling short, but this one doesn't.
