Airsign

Very fun-looking vacuum, and it worked well for my one-bedroom apartment- one room with hardwood floors, one with carpet, and one tile. It was less effective in my carpeted room, but as another reviewer states did well on my high-pile rug. Its storage footprint is fairly small and it tucks handily into a tall enough closet. I had a good customer service experience - I'd forgotten I had signed up for filter refills, and when I saw the shipment notification, I sent a panicked email saying that I hadn't signed up for a subscription. Airsign's customer support got back to me quickly saying yes I had, but they'll cancel future shipments, refund me, and I was able to keep the refill since it had already shipped. It was a painless fix and left me with a positive impression of the company. The vacuum itself is nice. I especially enjoyed the automatic reeling-in of the power cord, how easy it was to roll around the vacuum body/canister, and the slim tube design to make getting under furniture easier (and that it extended so that I could clean the corners of my ceiling with the crevice tool). I found I had some difficulty with the hardwood/carpet switch, however. Overall my experience with the Airsign vacuum has been positive, but ultimately I ended up reselling mine and swapping to a cordless vacuum, which better addresses most of my personal vacuum-based woes.

The hardwood/carpet toggle would often snap back when I tried to switch it, which was particularly frustrating. It'd be nice if the company also included a little tool to clean hair/fur/etc out of the vacuum head.
