Foreo Reviews

3.5

Foreo earns mixed reviews: many say Luna devices cleanse gently, feel soothing, and hold an exceptional charge for years, while others report little to no skin improvement and question efficacy versus basic scrubbers. Reviews also flag reliability and app issues, occasional mold or water ingress, and the Bear’s underwhelming results, making Foreo appealing for tactile cleansing but not a guaranteed skin-transformer.

  • I absolutely LOVE my FOREO devices and products. ❤️ I started with the LUNA 4 and the UFO 3 LED, and I was so impressed that I eventually decided to invest in the FAQ 102. But this is where my issue with FOREO comes in… FOREO products are not cheap. On top of the cost of the devices themselves, you also need to continually purchase the serums, primers and masks that go along with the treatments. So it’s definitely not a once-off investment. When I bought the FAQ 102, I was SO excited to try it. However, after connecting it to the app, I discovered that there is only one free treatment available. 😕 For the amount you already spend on the devices and the products needed to use them, I honestly find it ridiculous that customers are then expected to pay a monthly subscription for the app as well. In my opinion, when you're paying this much for a premium device, the app should be included for free. That seems like the least FOREO could do for its customers. Having to use an app with the device can already be a little frustrating at times, but having to pay a monthly fee just to properly access the treatments is starting to make me regret investing so much money into FOREO devices. And that's honestly disappointing because I really do love the products themselves. This is just my personal opinion and experience, but I think it's something worth considering before investing in FOREO devices. Make sure you look at the total ongoing cost, not just the price of the device itself. Hopefully this helps someone make a more informed decision. 🙏❤️

  • I genuinely don’t know what my luna does. It feels good on the skin, but i haven’t seen any noticeable changes and having to charge the device makes it tedious to even own. It could be a good exfoliator but I think the $10 Salicylic Acid wins.

  • I have had my Foreo since ~2017. That feels crazy to say and maybe a bit embarrassing that I have had it that long but my luna has stood the test of time! It is incredible. I do not go a single day without using it. If I could choose a skincare tool that is truly revolutionary, it would be this one. I have combo skin and used to have texture on my cheeks and forehead. In addition to a strict tret/ AHA routine, I started washing my face with this and it changed my skin!! My face feels so clean and soft! Not overly dry or squeaky clean but like I have brand baby new skin every night. Also a very soothing addition to the nighttime routine - not harsh to use but feels more like a massage! Also, during this almost 10 year stretch, I have maybe only charged it 6 times - so little that I actually have had to replace the charger because I keep losing it. I clean w hypochlorous (?) acid regularly but it's silicone so it is antimicrobial? Either way, I couldn't recommend this enough!

  • I was given this as a gift and I love this little guy! It has two different textures on the sides and helps remove makeup and impurities from skin. This product also stays charged for a ridiculously long time.
