Flock Foods Reviews

3.3

Flock Foods earns polarized reviews: some find the chicken-skin crisps satisfyingly crunchy with real fried-chicken flavor and keto-friendly protein, while many report greasy, overly salty chips with odd aftertastes, stringy texture, and occasional feather or hard bits. The brand is good for low-carb snacking and standout flavors like Salt & Vinegar and Nashville Hot, but complaints cite oiliness, inconsistent texture, and flavor fatigue.

  • I like the health aspect and creativity of this snack. The low-carb and high-protein aspects are definitely positives. However, these snacks have a noticeable aftertaste. I have tried a couple of brands of chicken chips, and this brand seems to have a stronger aftertaste and less flavoring to balance that.

  • I have tried just about every "protein stick" there is from the normal, old school ones to the new "influencer" popular sticks. All had a weird waxy feel to them, along with a gross after taste. I seen the Flocks Chicken Breast Sticks when I was at Costco and figured why not try them. I immediately opened the bag in the parking lot... and proceeded to eat half the bag and then went on to text my friend telling her to sprint to get a bag. There is no waxy feel to them nor do they have an after taste. So good and such a great snack!

  • I didn't like the fact that they cooked this product with all this chicken fur still attached to the skin🤢🤮 when I saw that chicken fur I started throwing up because I had already consumed one and my mind started playing tricks on me

  • I tried the Nashville hot chicken skin crisps. I liked these since I loved eating the skins of meat and pork rinds. It’s not overly spicy at first, but once you eat a lot you start to feel the heat. I think it is quite expensive for how little you get, I poured the bag of chips into a plastic sandwich bag and I’d say it fills up 60% of it. However, these are very dense chips so eating a little bit is quite filling. Overall, this would be good for someone on keto or as a healthier, protein packed chips. It’s also a unique item that is something new to try at a grocery store.
