Flex earns largely positive reviews for working reliably once the learning curve passes, with users praising comfortable, all‑day wear, high capacity, and the option for period sex, but critiques call out leakage on heavy days, tricky insertion/removal, and discomfort with the disc’s rigidity or the cup’s pull tab. Reviews note reduced cramps and forget‑it’s‑there comfort as strengths, while staining, mess during emptying, and confusion for first‑timers temper the experience.

After my inexpensive Amazon silicon cups started to stain, I saw the reusable one at Target and bought on a whim. When I opened the packet, I was a little thrown off by the size. However, it went in smoothly and was easy to pop into place. I didn't not have any leaks or issues throughout the day. In fact, it was more comfortable than my previous cups as there wasn't a chance for it to slide down. I was also able to have period sex which I haven't done in ages and my husband didn't say a thing. Instructions were clear. Removal and cleaning were a breeze too.

Have been into trying innovative period products for almost 6 years at this point. I remember flex when they first launched and I was excited by their "have sex on your period" claims. Those claims are true but it's not like it has gone completely unnoticed by my partners. As an avid user of the menstrual cup I have certainly grown accustomed to touching my own blood and needing to "get in there" to place and adjust the cup. The flex requires that same willingness to come into contact with your own body but is much easier to insert and remove than a cup. I also appreciate the design of how it sits at the base of your cervix instead of using suction in your vaginal canal. Very innovative and nice to not have to deal with any suction.

- It does leak. I really can't wear it on heavy days. It's best for last few days of a period. - Honestly if you + your partner are trying to get freaky on your period you might as well just put a towel down and roll with it. The flex isn't going to do much for you. - I really wish they made a reusable version the way Nixit has... The whole appeal for me to use a menstrual cup was to decrease my monthly menstrual waste to almost zero...
I have tried their disposable menstrual discs and I would like to get one of the reusable ones. So much more comfortable than a cup, and I love the self-emptying feature when you go to pee. I can wear this for at least 12 hours, which makes it great for overnight.
I'm so happy I discovered the flex disc. I switched from using the Diva Cup, and I like flex discs way better. I honestly forget that I have my period when I'm using these. They're great.
I use their menstrual disks and they work great. they hold a ton of blood and never leak. definitely my go to for periods from now on!

I have a high cervix and small hands and removing menstrual cups makes me cry literally. This is the easiest one to use because breaking the seal on any other menstrual cup is impossible. Use the pull tab and it changes the experience from nightmarish to OK. Honestly I still reach for tampons over these but I've struggled with menstrual cups - I am committed!! - and these are the best ones I've found so far.
I have tried this subscription which isn’t bad it just gets pricey. I like their packaging and their customer service is responsive.

Pricing could be better, there are cheaper options. Can be difficult to remove I’ve had better luck with softcups not sure if it has to do w the ring flexibility.

I was so nervous to attempt switching from using tampons to using a flex disc or menstrual cup. I ultimately went with the flex disc instead of the menstrual cup, because of the convenient ability to have intercourse while on my period with the disc. Although I was hesitant and very nervous, after using this product for just one day, I knew, I would never go back to wearing tampons again. And I haven’t. Girl go for it, you won’t regret it.

I’m such a fan of Flex & its products. Once I started using discs I’ve never looked back to traditional tampons. I just recently switched to the reusable disc which is SO COMFORTABLE and holds much more than the disposable ones. It’s a little softer ( the outer rim of the disposable one is quite hard, but the reusable one is much softer and squishy ) so there could be a learning curve. I transitioned easily as I prefer the softer disc. There is a bit of a “mess” when emptying but that’s to be expected. Overall amazing products have changed the way I go about my period care. I couldn’t recommend this more. It is fabulous.

A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion as I’ve tried other brands and still prefer flex products.

I had tried a couple different menstrual cups before giving up and thinking it just wasn’t for me. When I came back around to the idea I picked up the flex cup and I’m so glad i gave it a chance. The cup is different from other cups. As you remove the cup it breaks the suction which reduces the mess. Also, I can wear it for hours without worrying about leakage.

Like others I impulse purchased this from Target, I've never used the disc but the cup is great, never leaks and is super easy to use!
