Flex Reviews

4.1

Flex earns largely positive reviews for working reliably once the learning curve passes, with users praising comfortable, all‑day wear, high capacity, and the option for period sex, but critiques call out leakage on heavy days, tricky insertion/removal, and discomfort with the disc’s rigidity or the cup’s pull tab. Reviews note reduced cramps and forget‑it’s‑there comfort as strengths, while staining, mess during emptying, and confusion for first‑timers temper the experience.

  • I cannot emphasis enough how INCREDIBLE the flex menstrual disc is! I used to use pads (light and heavy) and period underwear exclusively. I tried tampons a couple times but it was not comfortable or user error. These however are intuitive to use and the diagram is super helpful. I have pretty heavy bleeding for the first 2-3 days of my cycle. I now have so much confidence wearing this at work with a pad as extra protection. I work long shifts and it can be hard to change a pad in a timely fashion. It also helps with period cramps! I usually buy a large pack and will give one to a friend to try it out without shelling out $$ because I genuinely love this product so much!

  • There is absolutely a learning curve with these disposable discs. I got for night time as super tampons just were not cutting it for me. Some people have mentioned leaks which hasn’t been an issue for me so far.

  • I've only tried the disposable period discs and really loved them. I find them more comfortable than tampons. However, they do leak once full and can be confusing to use when trying for the first time.

  • My friend shared an ad with my on IG about the discs. I wasn’t sure if they were going to work for me but man am I soooo happy I tried them. The discs literally changed my life. I’ve got endo and a really heavy flow. The disc gets me through an entire day without having to change it bc you can wear it for 12 hours. I’ve also figured out how to empty it during the day without taking it out. It’s super cool. My cramps have reduced and I just love not feeling like something is clogging me up during my period. I’m actually upset at myself for not knowing about the discs sooner. It did take me a week to figure it out but their customer service helped me with like standing on my tips toes to remove. Anyway, haven’t looked back and Ive officially said goodbye to tampons and pads forever. Best decision ever. Also I love that they use inclusive language.

I was going to say make a reusable disc, but they just did! Pre-ordered mine already. Glad they switched to eco friendly packaging.
