Flaus earns polarized reviews: the device motivates daily flossing and makes reaching back teeth easier, yet inconsistent floss-head durability and loud, buzzy motors (in V1) undermine the experience. Reviews credit Flaus with improving habits, comfort, and dentist feedback for some users, while others report flimsy or too-thin floss, awkward head changes, loosened thread mid-session, and difficulty in small mouths—leaving V2’s quieter motor and stronger heads as welcome but not universal fixes.
I have always struggled with flossing on a routine basis and was excited to try this product. I like that it is easy to use and keep in my shower to make it more possible to incorporate into my daily routine. it stays charged for a long time.
My mouth seems to be too small to accommodate using the Flaus device regularly and comfortably. I got the “woven” Flaus and struggle getting it between my back teeth, so might have had better luck there with the standard option.
I usually use Dr. Tungs or Cocolab which tend to be thicker imo, so that detail was a little shocking to me but maybe it’s preference?
I had a pleasant return experience with the CX team when I reached out sharing it was uncomfortable for me to use and appreciate that aspect of the brand!
