I’m really impressed with this moisturizer! I use it as my final step on top of another gel moisturizer. It’s rich and thick, but doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. I’ve never had any issue with it pilling and it sits great under sunscreen and makeup.

My skin looks brighter and smoother. I haven’t had any irritation in the 3ish weeks of daily use. I have some hyperpigmentation on my forehead and it seems to be helping to reduce the appearance. I also like the look of the packaging on my vanity.

I love the idea of mixing retinol and vitamin C to streamline my evening routine. The texture is so light and not sticky at all. I was surprised how gentle this product was… it hasn’t caused any irritation or purging despite this active ingredients mix. But, you do need to be patient because the brightening and smoothing effects take a while to appear. Also, the 25ml bottle goes through quickly, which makes it a bit pricey to keep up with.

I’m so picky with cleansers because my skin is combination and gets dehydrated easily. Most gel washes leave my face feeling totally stripped and tight, but this Bare Necessities one from Facile is amazing. The texture is really nice and smooth, it doesn't irritate my skin, and it has no annoying scent. It’s a perfect gentle daily wash that protects the skin barrier.
