Everlane proves a reliable source for well-made basics, according to reviews of Everlane, with standouts like Way‑High Jeans, Classic/Cheeky denim, cashmere, alpaca sweaters, and utility/barrel pants that hold up and anchor capsule wardrobes. Reviews also fault inconsistent sizing and boxy, unflattering cuts, variable fabric quality (thin tees, shrinking/pilling), and a drift from earlier simplicity—plus ethics concerns (union-busting) and limited size inclusivity—making the brand hit-or-miss depending on the piece.

Still having faith in the brand. My first purchase was back in 2017 if I remember correctly for a cashmere sweater and I was so amazed by the quality and softness. In the subsequent year, I purchased another crew neck cashmere sweater and was not entirely satisfied (little bit scratchy) but didn't have too much to complain about given the price. I also tried the silk shirt, lovely pink color but sheer and seen-through. Overall, I would still rate highly of Everlane as the design is minimalist and classy, and the materials are at least natural and organic. My wish is that they could be more petite friendly.

Fabric is not comfortable.

Kind of a mixed bag with Everlane. You get some pieces that will last a lifetime and others that aren't worth the money. Fortunately, they have easy and free returns. But a word of advice - don't buy the final sale items.

As a petite woman with a small waist and booty, finding denim that fits well and requires zero tailoring is pretty much impossible… and then I met the Everlane 90s Cheeky Jean. The ankle length is a 26” inseam, which hits perfect, and the high rise holds me in without grazing my boobs like others do. Why no perfect score? They lose rigidity and stretch with repeat wear, which a quick tumble in the dryer resolves. I also wish more washes were available.

High quality basics that are super comfy and last. Very pricey though so only get on posh mark or during a sale. Fit is true to size..

Very comfortable wearing. I have many of these and wear all the time.

Everlane is my go-to for pants and jeans—they have a lot of great petite-friendly options (i’m 5’ 1”). I like that they use mainly natural materials, as I hate the feeling of polyester. They definitely aren’t the most sustainable/ethical company, but not the worst either. I’ve never had a problem with quality.

Is it a problem that my entire closet is Everlane? NO. So affordable, so eco-conscious, so quality and well-fitting. I love refreshing my wardrobe with a few key Everlane pieces every season without the guilty credit card charge (their sales are so good). Life hack: their "happy returns" are so easy that I always order a couple sizes of each item and ship back the ones that didn't fit. Trying things on at home with your own styling mix is so much better than shopping in a store.

I was an Everlane stan until ~2019 - not sure what happened, but the prices increased and the quality of the clothing became worse. I love their linen, but unfortunately don't live in a great place to wear it. Most of the clothes I've bought to wear in the summer for the last 2 summers have shown sweat way too easily, especially shorts that introduced the dreaded crotch look. Shame on me for wearing those in the mid 80s? Perhaps, but having a breezy lining layer would have made them functional.

Favourite jeans and t-shirts. I love their denim, long lasting and classic styles. Their t-shirts are thick and comfy.

So disappointed with the quality. The $50 organic cotton shirt is so thin it’s nearly see through. Looks like it’s going to loose its shape after a few washes. Save your money. Quality for price, you’re better off shopping at Walmart.

Very high quality products. The website was easy to use and beautifully designed.

The prices still seem a bit high even without traditional markups though the quality of the products are often worth the price.

I’ve been buying Everlane since 2015, and at one point—probably 2017-2019–at least two thirds of my wardrobe was Everlane. It was not uncommon for me to realize everything on my body on a given day came from Everlane. I was a superfan. The clothes were so well made, classic, and relatively inexpensive. $68 jeans! $100 cashmere! $25 tee dresses! $18 tee shirts made in the US! And they all looked great. I splurged on a couple of heavyweight ribbed wool cardigans ($150-ish) that are as solid as the day I bought them and I still wear all the time, 6+ years later. For a long time, Everlane was the go to for APC and Acne dupes and clothes that looked and felt far more expensive than they were. But now everything’s made overseas and priced twice as high, well beyond inflation, and they’re slapping conspicuous E’s and logos on things as if it’s a prestige brand or a mall brand. I’ve returned 90% of what I’ve ordered in the past couple of years. Quality for the price has diminished substantially, and trend chasing means the clothes will be disposed of more quickly, so along with the overseas manufacturing they’re no longer a particularly ethical, cheap, OR high quality choice. See Good on You’s mediocre rating. I’m done.

High quality goods, consistent sizing, transparent pricing. Love their shipping, packaging, and returns. They have great sales as well.

Definitely built for one body type: slim. Accommodating of a curvier shape on occasion, but definitely not designed for.

I have a pair of everlane canvas sneakers. They’re about 2 years old now. They’re website says they’ll stay intact for at least 10 washes but the shoe insert came off after 2, the rubber edge is cracked in a couple spots, and there’s a little hole starting to form over my big toe on one side. They’re very comfortable and versatile but the quality hasn’t held up.

High quality pieces at a reasonable price.

I usually only buy everlane on sale, and I think that makes it worth it. I can't tell how sustainable thier products actually are, which is annoying. However, I think they sell reasonable basics. I don't think it's a particularly intersting brand, and it reminds me a lot of madewell.

I wish they sold more interesting items. I feel like a lot of thier products are netural to the point of being uninteresting.
