Everlane proves a reliable source for well-made basics, according to reviews of Everlane, with standouts like Way‑High Jeans, Classic/Cheeky denim, cashmere, alpaca sweaters, and utility/barrel pants that hold up and anchor capsule wardrobes. Reviews also fault inconsistent sizing and boxy, unflattering cuts, variable fabric quality (thin tees, shrinking/pilling), and a drift from earlier simplicity—plus ethics concerns (union-busting) and limited size inclusivity—making the brand hit-or-miss depending on the piece.

Great basic t shirts. Their sweaters are also phenomenal. I have a basic black sweater and I wear it just about everyday. It think their basics (t shirts and sweaters) are by far my favorite products. The socks are bad. I bought a pack of socks and they immediately got holes in every single pair along the heels after only like 5 wears...
Everlane products are great. They have a quality and feel that most people look for. I've owned dresses, tops and bags from everlane and have yet to be disappointed. My favorite item is their market tote. I use it regularly and it fits so much. It's shape has kept and the black color is just as rich as the first day I got it.

love getting the basics here at a reasonable price! their sustainability mission in fashion always helps too!
Everlane has been one of those brands that I always loved the thought of it but the execution just doesn’t click. I love the transparent pricing, the aesthetic, the layout of their physical stores, and the improved ease of returns (compared to 2018). My biggest complaint is the fit. Most cuts of items just don’t feel comfortable. I have bought and returned over 10 pairs of jeans (still don’t actually own a pair), about 14 tops (to which I have currently kept 2), tanks, and dresses. I really want to live in Everlane but it’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack for comfort.

I used to be a fan of Everlane, attracted by their promises of 'Radical Transparency' and sustainability. However, I've become increasingly skeptical about how sustainable and ethical their practices truly are. Recent reports and investigations have raised concerns. For instance, a 2020 article from The New York Times highlighted discrepancies between Everlane's public image and their internal practices, particularly regarding their labor policies. Additionally, critiques from sustainability advocates point out that while Everlane uses some eco-friendly materials, their business model still relies heavily on new production, which contradicts the principles of true sustainability that prioritize reducing consumption and embracing a circular economy. These revelations have led me to question the authenticity of Everlane's sustainability claims and to seek out other brands that align more closely with my ethical and environmental values.
I’ve loved Everlane since it launched! Highly recommend. Great product and great business practices. I do wish that the types of styles improved and had more personality but great staple pieces.
I would say I’m an overall fan of Everlane, although I don’t love the entire line. What I do have, I do really love. Sweaters, underwear, and men’s basics. I find some of their women’s clothing to be a bit boxy for my body type, but that’s just not my style. I also have a jumpsuit that I really love - great for everyday wear + travel.
These are the only jeans i have worn for the last 10 years and i’ll never go back to cheap ill fitting jeans

Such great quality, sustainable, and the brand has a great mission.
Love their basics. Elevated yet classy.
Love Everlane! About 15% of my wardrobe is probably Everlane at this point. The washable silk shirts are amazing and fit great, I have had mine for a few years now and they are still in fantastic condition. their sweaters are fantastic as well. I have a couple of their flats and boots and wear them on a regular basis as well.
Their glove boot is the number one thing that I get compliments on and they are SO comfy. I had to size up one whole size but they are worth every penny. I wore them to work every day for three years and out to dinner before they showed wear.
One of the standout aspects of Everlane for me has been their cashmere collection. It's not easy to find high-quality cashmere at an affordable price, but Everlane hits the mark beautifully. Their cashmere sweaters are not just luxuriously soft but also stylish and durable, making them a staple in my wardrobe. I've also been impressed with their range of shoes and backpacks. While I've found that some items may not endure as long as others, this hasn't significantly impacted my overall positive view of Everlane. They are my go-to brand for basics that don't break the bank.
Consistent high-quality clothing, fit is sometimes hard to gauge but generally good construction.
THE UTILITY BARREL PANTS ARE THE ONLY PANTS IN MY WARDROBE. They are the perfect length for my short legs (I’m 5’ 1”). I own them in navy blue, white, khaki, brown, black, olive green, and sage green. And they just made them in denim, which I’ve been eyeing. Buy these pants. I bought some of their shirts for my boyfriend and stole them back for myself.
Generally quality is good. Designs can be somewhat basic. Trends towards very boxy cuts in many of the tops. I do not think it's a particularly sustainable brand. Jeans don't work on me and after several attempts I've given up trying.
They were all over my closet for a good while, until some of their cooperate office culture problem got out on the internet. The quality of their clothing is really good. For someone who likes more basics and classics in their closet, this brand is a great affordable option without sacrificing the quality. I do wish they would have more variety of styles though, especially on the tops.
Great quality, great customer service!
Everlane has great products and great quality staples! Yes, they are slightly more than your amazon hauls but it is worth it. Plus they have ethical branding and pricing, which makes me feel better about my purchases!
I’ve been a customer since 2015. My friend introduced me to the brand through a gift. I received an amazing leather wallet. Since then I’ve been hooked on their products. Love the price transparency model. Some of their cashmere products pile and their prices have gone up a lot in the past few yrs, but their styles keep me shopping. Please bring back small leather goods!
