Everist earns mixed reviews: its concentrated shampoo, conditioner, and body wash impress with fresh herbal scents, travel-ready tins/tubes, and results that leave many hair types soft, shiny, and clean, but others report greasy residue, dryness, scalp irritation, and a learning curve to find the right water-to-product ratio. Reviews praise eco-conscious aluminum packaging, minimal waste, and long-lasting formulas, yet note hard-to-open lids, tricky caps, inconsistent lather, and some products underperforming on thick, curly, or color-treated hair.

2 yrs & counting. Would never stray from the best sustainable S/C combo. They now go on every vacay with me due to the lasting decadent herbal scents, immediate hair/scalp cleanliness, and the conditioning/defrizz of my hair speaks "volumes". Took only 2 tries to nail down the right dollop amount from the tins, and now use both tins/tubes-both so ez. Love everything about Everist and its ESG business angle.

I’ve been wanting to try this brand for a while and was excited to try the haircare travel duo as part of a thingtesting campaign. I thoroughly enjoyed the shampoo (it gave me a great clean, scalp feeling without being too drying) and was pleasantly surprised by the hydration from the conditioner. I have long, thick, curly hair so I did need to use quite a lot of the conditioner to adequately coat all of my hair. I personally wouldn’t use these as my everyday products, but would definitely consider them for short travel needs.

It was hard to get the soap out using the key that is supplied. I used the wash so far. The sponge was good to use.

I used both the shampoo and conditioner in the travel tins. The amount of product needed was less than I anticipated. It smelled so very refreshing and rinsed out of my hair easily, felt clean. I air dry my hair. These product left my hair looking great! No heavy feeling or need for additional product for my hair to reflect its natural waves. Great tin concept to refill for next travel.

I have dry, aging hair and was looking for a shampoo and conditioner to help. Tired Everist and found it to be very good and has helped with taming the frizz. Not only that, but it is eco friendly, using less and with less packaging waste. You can even return the plastic caps for them to recycle... The products are fairly priced and I do travel for work and they offer travel sizes... good thing.

I love the sustainability aspect. It works well and is easy to get used to. I suggest using the deep conditioner instead of the regular one for more hydration!

I really liked the concept and decided to give it a try. I ended up loving this concentrated shampoo, the scent is amazing, it smells like mint and you feel clean and fresh. The only thing i would change is the packaging.

It looks/feels like toothpaste and lathers pretty well with water
Feedback
I love the concept of the product, and the sound of this brand and what they are about. It is a bit hard to use in the first place as it is hard as toothpaste and needs some work to lather. But eventually it creates creamy bubbles and cleans my hair well without making it super dry. I would recommend it

Loving this concentrated shampoo! It smells amazing, the scent is very herbal and natural because it is. Shampoo without all of the toxic junk in traditional shampoos. It lathered ok, for it being being so free of toxic ingredients I’m fine with how it lathers. Going to look and see if they have a conditioner I enjoy the scent so much.

This body wash was so pleasant to use. I absolutely love the fact that such a small amount goes a long way. It cleanses well and my skin feels super smooth and hydrated. The scent is so fresh and pleasant. This is going to last me a long time which is also perfect in trying to reduce plastic use. Gifted by Everist.

The sponge was hard to use.

Such a great body wash! I was hesitant with how it’s waterless but it’s so easy to use and I love the scent! Definitely will be repurchasing! It foams up quickly and lathers really well as well.

Really cool concept! This body wash comes as sort of a paste that you lather on the konjac sponge - it works wonders as a body cleanser and it's a lot more eco-friendly than traditional body wash. I first thought it was just a fun novelty thing to try, but now wishing more brands switched to this type of packaging.

The little pouch that came for konjac sponge storage was smaller than the sponge. I wish it was slightly bigger,

Loved this! It was really interesting to use. It didn’t really lather like most soaps do. It took a little bit to lather but after reading the instructions (which I recommend doing first) it was awesome!

I love this product! I feel so clean after using it and the smell is literally to die for! The only thing I would say is annoying is the packaging. I don’t like having to unscrew the cap and then screw it back up when I am in the shower but if that got changed it would be such a perfect product!

This is such an interesting concept! The body wash is like a very thick white cream which turns into a regular body wash when mixed with water. I absolutely loved the packaging, it’s so eco-friendly too, wasting way less plastic bottles compared to a regular body wash. I love the little metallic “key” thing that’s used to roll the tube down to squeeze more product, and I love the sponge, too. Should be very easy to travel with or pack for camping trips.

Big fan of the Everist line. Shampoo and conditioner smell amazing, they lather really well (much better than a lot of the ‘clean’ products I have tried with my kids) and my hair is very soft, manageable and shiny - especially impressive when I shower with hard well water. As other users have noted, the product takes a little getting used to - since consistency and packaging are different than traditional shampoo and conditioner. But it’s an easy enough adjustment. And I’ve noticed an improvement to the conditioner and package labelling which make the experience better. Just started using the body wash and loving same great herbal scent and nice lather (esp with the sponge!). And, finally, it’s nice to buy a product that you can feel good about using - especially with my kids. Now that we’ve made the switch to Everist, we will stick with it.

Would love to see even more differentiation between the shampoo and conditioner. New caps are an improvement but maybe a different colour (like they did with the body wash cap); bigger “1” and “2” printed on tube would help, too.

Really love the Everist body wash. Similar to the shampoo, which I’ve been using for a while, I’m really happy with how the product lathers up from just a small amount and how nice it smells and feels on my body while I’m in the shower. In combo with my konjac sponge, I find the body wash really exfoliates my sensitive skin, leaving it feeling super soft and smooth all day (so many other products I’ve used before ended up drying out my skin or causing breakouts). I also really like that it is a truly sustainable product from a legit sustainable brand and that it is made from natural ingredients - something that has become increasingly important to me since becoming a mom.

Include a tube key only for the first order (I only need one I can reuse). Or provide option of adding tube key during checkout process for follow-up orders so customers can decide if they want/need one or not.

I had high hopes for this brand, but I'm afraid the product's not really working for me. I have long, fine hair that tangles easily, but a concentrated product was exactly what I was looking for. I purchased the shampoo (1) and conditioner (2) set. One thing I really like is the scent of both products, it's a perfect unisex, "herbal" smelling blend that seems high end. I think the shampoo cleanses my hair very nicely without stripping it, and lathers well, but the "conditioner" is just not good for my hair type. It doesn't seem to soften my hair or detangle it at all, if anything it makes it much worse and harder to brush through. I've tried using a few methods (adding more water, lathering, using a lot of product) and it just doesn't work for me. I'm continuing to use the shampoo, and have passed off the conditioner to my partner with short hair as it has good results on him.

Reformulate the conditioner or add a more hydrating conditioner product. 1 and 2 could be more obvious on the tubes, or have different coloured caps.

A bit more labor intensive than standard shampoos as the tube is hard to squeeze, even with the turning key, and it takes awhile to get it suds up and worked through BUT I love the smells and results of the shampoo and conditioner, and really love not having plastic packaging!

Make the numbers 1 and 2 MUCH BIGGER. It is almost impossible to distinguish shampoo from conditioner, especially in my dark shower, without my glasses, and soap in my eyes!
