Dove earns mixed reviews: many say its body washes, bar soaps, and haircare leave skin and hair soft, hydrated, and visibly smoother, while critics cite heavy fragrances, irritating formulas, and questionable ingredients. Reviews praise Sensitive Skin bar soap, Deep Moisture Body Wash, Intensive Repair and Damage Therapy shampoos, Exfoliating Body Polish, and Clinical antiperspirant, but note aluminum-free deodorants underperform, scents can overwhelm, and some products feel thick or build up.

great drugstore brand with products that work at an affordable price. this deodorant is great for true anti-perspirant protection (the version with aluminum - the version without didn't do anything for me)

My husband loves Dove Men bodywash! It lathers and rinses well without stripping off skin. The scent is refreshing and masculine, it lingers on for a while. The formula takes off any bad odor and sweat, leaving his skin fresh and soft.

I've tested Dove Clinical through workouts and stressful situations and I can say it never let me down. Not only it provides effective protection against sweat and odor, it is also very gentle on my skin. I did not experience any irritation and my skin always felt so nourished and soft. The formula doesn't leave white marks and stains on my cloth.

This smells absolutely amazing! It’s the perfect fall scent and doesn’t break me out like other scented deodorants do. I will say I have to reapply after a few hours which is kind of a bummer but honestly for the smell it’s worth it.

Would rate a 5 star but.. Writing this review because none of my local stores have this product anymore and it’s the only product that actually works for my hair no other product(head and shoulders or others) worked for me.. Did you guys discontinue it?
Go to body wash for the autumn and winter. Keeps my skin moisturized and soft. I enjoy how it slightly suds up when using and the creamy feeling when it’s applied. The scent can be a bit much at times but I still use it to hydrate when in the shower.

I am currently using this Dove sensitive skin hypoallergenic 24 hour renewing micromoisture body wash for a few months. I liked it enough that I have bought it several times. It goes on smooth, doesn't irritate the skin, and moisturizes a bit.

The Dove Sensitive Skin Body Wash is a not that great for the price and doesn't actually work for people with sensitive skin. It is irritating and scented, which doesn't make sense if it's supposedly meant for sensitive skin.

This Dove Frosted Plum Berry deodorant is one of my favorite scents, it’s so unique. Though it’s seasonal, you only need to buy once because it lasts such a long time! Such a big fan and would continue to buy!

I love the dove 10-in-1 serum mask from Dove! I lather it on the ends of my hair and let it sit for a couple of minutes and it leaves my ends silky smooth. Highly recommend this product and it’s only $9.99!

I recently started using dove intensive repair shampoo, conditioner, and conditioning mask per abbey young’s recommendation. I was previously using Ouai shampoo and conditioner for fine hair and my hair always looked and felt dry. Even when I air dry my hair, it’s softer and shinier.

Definitely works, just doesn’t feel luxurious. Don’t like the way it smells, but does leave my hair feeling clean. Don’t think the ingredients are great for you either and believe there’s lot of filler in it.

I've been using Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. From the moment it hits your skin, the texture feels luxuriously creamy, not runny or watery like some body washes. It lathers just enough to feel like it’s cleaning effectively without stripping my skin of its natural oils. The scent is subtle and clean—nothing overpowering, which I really appreciate for daily use. What stands out the most is how soft my skin feels afterward. Even in areas that usually get dry, like my elbows and knees, there’s a noticeable smoothness and hydration that lasts throughout the day.

I've been using the Dove Damage Therapy for a few weeks now . And I'm very impressed. Not only does it smooth and fix damaged hair, it smells amazing and my hair has never looked better. I highly recommend this shampoo. #dove #shampoo

I have used and continue to use a variety of Dove items. Their hair care, deodorant, and soap are all top-quality products. I find they all leave my skin or hair feeling smoother and more replenished than other brands.

I have very sensitive underarm skin and I can only use specific deodorants. This one has worked so well for me and I never have any rashes with it. I will say that it isn't effective for all day but it works well for ~8 hours on a day that isn't too hot.

Honestly I think buying Dove branded products is a waist of money. There is really nothing superiour about their products when you compare them with the generics offered by store brands. I am all about spending more money for a better quality product, but when it comes to Dove and store brands, I really have not found anything I like better about them.

I have so many Dove products and I enjoy them all. I have a body scrub by them that smooths my skin and smells like cherries. I also really enjoy their shampoos and body wash bars. Overall they make good products at good prices.

Dove is a brand I feel mostly neutral on. It was never a brand I was attached to growing up, and I'm not really opinionated either way on its products. I prefer more natural products in general, and their products aren't my optimal choice. I do appreciate that at the very least, they don't test on animals.
