Extremely poor quality. After just two wears, the elastic completely stretched out and lost its shape. Now, the shoes flop around and slip off my heels with every step, making them completely unwearable. The company is unethical and bullies their customers. I reviewed this on another site, they attempted to remove my review 3 times. They privately messaged me to ask where I purchased the item, and I confirmed they were from Farfetch. They were brand new. Instead of addressing the quality issue, they used their public response to shift the blame away from themselves and said the pair was counterfeit. It is highly unethical to try and deflect responsibility.

These shoes are not well made and highly uncomfortable. I am a solid 38. The leather piping cuts into the ankle and the seam at the toe hits directly on the nail > skin line making it awkward and uncomfortable to even take a step. They left significant marks on my foot after less than 5min. of wearing in my home. I tried to exchange / return them and I got pushback because I threw away the box. For almost $500, these are a waste and I will never purchase from Dear Frances again. This is fake luxury footwear.

I recently found this company (on social media of course) and after ordering one pair, immediately ordered more as they quickly became my most reached for shoes. Simply and beautifully made, every pair has been really comfortable. I’m on my feet all day so comfortable shoes that look great too are highly prized. Their customer service team is fantastic. I’ve had two small things I needed help with and actual people responded and provided solutions quickly, professionally & with friendliness. Great product with a great customer service experience is a rarity now and Dear Frances seems to have figured out how to do both with excellence!

I honestly can’t believe some of the bad reviews out there. I own several pairs of Dear Frances shoes, sandals, boots, and more, and they are hands down the highest quality leather shoes I’ve ever owned. I get compliments on them constantly and people always ask where they’re from. They’re beautifully made, comfortable, and feel timeless. It’s one of the few brands where every purchase has felt completely worth it.

Influenced by Instagram, I bought a gio bag and a pair of rain sandals. The bag was faulty, and the sandals design makes it unwearable —sharp corners cut into my feet after 5min wearing them. When I requested a refund, I was only offered store credit, which is unacceptable and not to mention illegal in the US and Europe for defective items. Very disappointed and can’t recommend. Promptly unfollowed the influencers promoting this brand online as well. Notice how the picture on their website looks like vs the bag I received.

The quality is terrible for the price point and the customer service was absolutely shocking. I received boots that did not look the same (see photo). Although it was outside of the return window, I made a complaint and asked for an exchange for a replacement pair that actually looked like they were a pair and was told that differences are normal and to apply a leather cream (which I already do every 3 months). Anyone in their right mind can see that these shoes are simply made of different quality leather and it is not a matter of 'wear and tear' on my part causing differences. Absolutely disgraceful for the price point, both in terms of quality and the treatment I received on raising the issue.

I just received the Sacchetto bag in Large, Coffee, and the craftsmanship and quality are genuinely impressive. The size is great, it fits my laptop comfortably without feeling bulky, and the design is very versatile — easy to dress up or down. The mix of mesh and leather gives it a unique look compared to a full-leather bag, and it feels like a style that will work well throughout the year. Overall, I’m really happy with it so far.

My park boots still look great after 2 years of wear. Overall I really rate DF products - whilst the fit can be quite different from style to style, the materials and quality of the shoes & boots make them worth the investment. Also want to mention that I had an excellent experience also dealing with Nancy in Customer Services. She was brilliant!

I have two pairs of their apple leather products and I LOVE them. I'm so sad that they seem to be sunsetting that type of leather--I'm trying to buy fewer animal products for environmental reasons so it's disappointing that they seem to be moving in the wrong direction.

I really love this brand. Everything from their brand design, to customer service consistency and the quality of items. It is an investment brand, and a bonus-at-work treat but worth the money. Timeless footwear you will love for a long time, and that will go with most of your outfits. Highly recommend as a gift.

They advertise as a luxury brand but nothing is luxury about this company. The product is poor and they do not have the consumers interest in mind. When I filed a complaint with consumer protection after they only offered me a partial refund they retaliated and refused to give me any refund. I ended up having to file a fraud claim with my financial institution which I believe anyone can do if you are within the 6 month window. Don’t let this company get away with ripping you off as it seems to be their MO.

Terrible company and customer service. I bought a pair of shoes in the sale which were too big so I planned to exchange them. It stated on the invoice I had 28 days to do this. When I tried to do the exchange, it wouldn’t let me and then I saw on the website that I had to start the exchange 14 days after purchase. This was only a couple of days after so I’d hoped they would honour my exchange as I’d be paying extra for the new pair. I contacted customer service who said they wouldn’t do that and their policy was on the website. This is completely misleading as it clearly says on the invoice 28 days. I’m astonished that this company was happy lose a returning customer and seems not to care about its reputation. Terrible way to treat customers

If you write a negative review, the company will insult and intimidate you. Most good companies have strong leadership but to insult a customer (I bought two boots and returned one pair--which means I still paid this company $700) is outrageous.

Absolutely beautiful shoes and very comfortable. Love the mission also!
