ChapStick earns largely positive reviews for being a simple, effective classic that moisturizes and soothes chapped lips, with loyalists praising options like Classic Moisturizer, Medicated, SPF variants, and flavors such as Green Apple. Reviews also flag drawbacks: some find the formula waxy, flavor intensity polarizing (notably cherry), and hydration that doesn’t last long or feel modern against newer competitors.

I am a black label (original flavor) loyalist. I use ChapStick every single day, and have no desire to switch to anything else. It works so well that I don't need to carry it with me and reapply multiple times throughout the day. I have proudly fully finished more than one tube before, which feels like a huge win.

The go-to brand for lip balm that is high quality and affordable. ChapStick one of very few brands that has lip balm that really moisturizes my lips and keeps them soft. The quality it consistently high and the variety of options are enjoyable.

This is a great product for the price. It is a plain chapstick to soothe chapped lips and it’s great for everyday use. The flavor of the original is a little plain, but this is a great addition for protecting your skin on a daily basis.

Chapstick is a classically well-known product for dry and chapped lips. When my lips are very dry and chapped, the medicated classic ChapStick is a great way to go. Other times, the variety of flavors, from cherry to spearmint, are fun to use. The availability and affordability of ChapStick in most stores makes this a good option for a lot of people.

I received the green apple flavored balm by being out of the 100 people to get it. I used the chapstick brand in the past and it never irritated my lips and made them feel softer after. This is the first time trying the green apple scent, and to be honest I like it better than there cherry one. The cherry scented one made me sick due to the aroma of the frangrance but the apple one to me doesn’t. The chapstick is a perfect side, for on the go travel and even fits in the small pockets they barely put on women pants.

ChapStick is the OG brand of lip products! I love the green apple ChapStick. It smells as good as a Green apple Jolly Rancher. Now I wish I had one every time I applied my Green apple ChapStick. The 3 pack is a good deal. I keep 1 on my work desk, 1 in my purse and 1 in my car during the winter. It also tastes good!

I have nothing to say about this OG brand. Do I buy more expensive, flashier brands sometimes? Sure. But I usually have a chapstick on hand as well. A brand so good the name is synonymous with the product.

I have used Chapstick for years! I love how it helps that dry feeling of my lips. I used to purchase the Classic balm, but now I really like the Moisturizing lip balm. I especially like that there are options with SPF to help prevent skin damage or cold sores. I highly recommend this product.

This was the brand we always had laying around when I was a kid, and it seemed to work well. I feel like it was the essential brand back then. Now there are so many more brands to choose from for my dry lips, and I'm not sure how this one compares in modern day to others.
ChapStick is decent, but nothing special. It does the job in terms of moisturizing, but I don’t feel like it lasts very long, and I haven’t noticed any significant improvements in my lip care. It’s a classic, but I’ve tried better options.
I'm a diehard ChapStick olyalist. I'm not a fan of tasting any type of flavor or smell while applying lip products so I always buy the Classic Moisturizer Lip Balm. I usually apply before bed and once in the morning and find that it's best at keeping my lips feeling good without any weird tackiness, taste, or feeling on my lips. I also really like the size of the tube. There are a lot of much prettier packs out there but personally I want something like ChapStick that's small, compact, and easy to throw in my bag.
The OG of lip balms. Variety of flavors and does the job. Keeps lips moisturized and soft

ChapStick is a classic! I have been using it for many years and it is simple and effective. It keeps my lips moisturized especially in the cold and dry winters here. there is an abundance of flavors to choose from and it is very affordable!
This one is a classic for a reason - the tube Chapsticks are affordable, easy to find, and just work. I like to keep a chapstick in all my bags, so I like to get a multi-pack when I can so I don't have to worry about losing any.
Yes it is a classic, but no it is not the best. If I am going to be basic, I am choosing Vaseline over these waxy sticks. They do go a bonus for having classic smells.
