The Bedside Humidifier Pros - love the compact and sleek design. Fits easily on my bedside table. I love the built in sound machine function with adjustable volume but the machine itself does make noise on its own so be aware of that. I personally like that it’s vaporless so I don’t have to worry about water droplets or condensation. I do know it’s working though because my paperback book covers will curl a little lol. It also cleans the water via blue light in the machine which I think is very cool and great luxe feature. Love that the parts are dishwasher safe and that it has an auto turn-off function when the water tank is empty, when it works (see cons). The tank lasts about 24 hours for me, a little over but I do refill every night so it doesn’t run out overnight. My favorite part is I allegedly don’t have to worry about mold but I have seen some reviews say they have found mold in certain parts of the machine. Cons - the auto-off feature only works some of the time. I’ve left on vacations without turning the machine off because it’s supposed to turn off when it’s empty but I’ve come back and the machine is still on and running. But I’ve also been home and the machine runs empty and then turns off. So I’m not sure what’s happening there. Under the water tank, there’s a circle piece (I included a picture) that most of the time has water sitting in it. I’m not sure if this is because of the function and the water is supposed to be in there to then flow through the machine or if there’s a leak but I wonder if sometimes this is why the machine doesn’t turn off when the tank is empty; because water is still sitting in that piece. I’m also not sure I’ve noticed much of a difference when using this. Everything feels pretty much the same. I’ll continue to use it though the winter when it’s drier and see if I notice a difference then. As it’s getting colder I do notice the water lowering quicker so it must be sensing more dryness I would guess. Overall, I’m underwhelmed by the product. I do love the features that protect from mold and bacteria but I’m not seeing proof of the claims (more hydrated skin, less dry nose and throat). I would probably try the bigger humidifier instead to see if larger area coverage affects the results.
