Brooklyn Candle Studio reviews and discussion

I have purchased a few Brooklyn Candle Studio candles and a reed diffuser. Some of their scents are really strong (Santorini, Sunday Morning) and some are a lot more subtle (Palo Santo). I like but don't love their scents.

I really wanted to like Brooklyn Candle Studio. I purchased three of their candles and they came beautifully packaged. Unfortunately none of the three had any throw and were barely perceptible. I had to be very close to smell anything (and what I could detect was nice!) but unfortunately these were too weak. Maybe I got a bad batch.

I’ve been on the monthly subscription for these candles for over a year now, so I’ve gotten to try lots of different scents I wouldn’t have thought to pick up. There’s only a couple I didn’t love (Japanese Citrus and Rose Botanica were a little too floral/sweet for me) and I’ve only gotten 1 repeat so far, but it’s one of my favorites anyways (Leather Jacket). They tend to have good throw and I can immediately smell it when I walk into the 600 sf room I burn it in, but it’s not overwhelming. Definitely recommend it for the subscription if there’s multiple scents you’re interested in trying and if you go through candles regularly. Great value for the price.

I received the fern and moss candle as a gift from a friend, and it's my favorite candle of all time–such a pleasant and luxurious scent. Their packaging is also super cute! I'll definitely be repurchasing when I finish this candle!
