Reviews mention

  • Foot-hugging arch support
  • Reliable no-show grip
  • Cushioned heel tab comfort
  • Breathable performance knit
  • Inconsistent sizing fit
  • Tight calf compression
  • Occasional heel holes
  • Wash-related sock shrinkage

Bombas earns strong reviews for exceptionally comfortable, supportive socks—no-shows that stay put, cushioned athletic and running styles with arch support, and durable kids’ grippers—while its one‑for‑one donation model resonates. Reviews also flag weaknesses: frequent shrinkage, tight calves/ankles and narrow fit for wide feet, inconsistent sizing, and durability issues like holes in heels or thinner styles wearing out, alongside frequent comments that Bombas is pricey.

  • Bombas socks truly are the best socks out there! They’re amazing quality, last forever and come in a bunch of cute colors! love the extra padding around the heel area as well!

  • Very comfortable socks that wear really well.

I know Bombas says that they donate pairs of socks to homeless people on a 1:1 basis but I live in NYV and I’ve never seen a homeless person with Bombas. My feedback is to distribute Bombas more widely to the underserved.

  • Too tight on leg

    Feedback

Socks are too tight overall. I’ve never had that complaint before either.

  • Love the colors and they last forever

Better hold for larger calves. The socks slide down.

  • Love these socks and give them as gifts often. My dad who is an avid golfer is obsessed!!!

    Feedback

More fun patterns and they are a bit pricey for socks.

  • I love the mission and the feel of these socks! They did not last as long as I hoped for the price, I have worn holes in the heels for every single pair. I wasn't keeping track of how long but it felt too short, less than 1 year. The rest of the sock held up very well, just the bottom of the heel wears through.

    Durability of the heel

  • Great mission, great product. Little pricey but worth it for the quality and comfort.

  • Bombas socks are probably the most comfortable socks I've ever warn. I've had mine for years, and since then, they've come out with such a wide variety of products. I think they're great for hiking and distance running. Their company is worth every penny.

  • I absolutely love my Bombas socks. I've had them many MANY years and they continue to hold up. They don't slip in my shoes and feel just right. Not too bulk and not too thin.

Price price price. This is what holds me back from replacing all my socks with Bombas.

  • Quality socks that outlast other pairs of socks I've purchased. Bomba also donates a pair of socks for every pair purchased.

    Feedback

Cost obviously is very high for what you are getting.

  • Very well made socks and great customer service. My favorite socks every worth all the money and their product mission is well worth supporting.

  • BEST SOCKS EVER. I have never had a preference on socks, they were more of a utility. Until I tried Bombas. They are so comfortable, fit my feet great, are super durable (in 2 years haven't had any rips). I will always overpay for them!

    Feedback

Price range for slightly lower quality for lower price.

  • Great and comfy and good for working out. Not super durable and lots have holes after only a year of use.

    Feedback

    Durability is lower than anticipated.

  • I honestly was a bit unsure about these socks because of how expensive they were, but having tried them out I can feel the difference in quality from other socks. They’re just thicker and well-made and they don’t slip!

  • best running socks in the world, incredible product lifecycle policies

    Pricey

  • I wear bombas everyday as my socks with sneakers. They hold up really well in the wash/dryer as well! They definitely are expensive for socks, but they last a really long time so I think it is worth it.

  • I hate that I love these socks so much. I personally said I'd never buy these because I thought they were just overpriced socks. I received a few pairs of Bombas socks with a gift recently and I couldn't believe the difference vs. my typical cheap socks I buy. There so comfortable and perfectly cushioned. I now hate when my Bombas are in the wash and have to go back to normal socks for the day. Looks like I'll be buying more pairs!
