Blueland impresses in reviews for delivering effective, low‑waste cleaning—dishwasher tablets, foaming hand soap, toilet tabs, and laundry routines often perform as well as conventional options with lighter, pleasant scents and compact, plastic‑free refills—so the brand is good for everyday cleaning. However, reviews flag inconsistent cleaning strength for heavy messes (glass cleaner streaks, dish powder and some sprays underperform), dissolving issues with laundry tabs, and widely reported failures of plastic “forever” bottles, pumps, and sprayers.

I appreciate the mission of Blueland, and some of their products work well. Others, I didn't find super effective and stopped buying. Presently, I use their dishwasher tablets and hand soap, and I think those items work really well. In the past, I've tried the body wash and laundry tablets (not the oxi clean version). The body wash didn't lather well, and I felt like I ended up using half the bottle each shower, At that price, it wasn't worth it, and I just use dr, bronners now. The laundry tablets didn't make my clothes smell clean at all. They would work fine for everyday clothes that don't get super dirty, but they did nothing to de-stink my workout clothes. Since I don't want to have multiple types of laundry detergents, I switched to the earth breeze sheets, and am much more satisfied.

Love the hand soaps, face wash, and cleaning products. The bottles hold up great, even with kids doing the cleaning.

I love the foaming hand soap! Smells great and easy to use. I also love the glass bottles, pumps work great! Spray bottles for cleaning, my sprayers are very slow to bring the cleaner up to be able to squeeze the trigger again. I don't love the smell of the bathroom cleaner. My bottles have never cracked or broken. The laundry soap works pretty well but I do have to put my washer on "high water" to make sure the tablet fully dissolves. I like the toilet cleaning tablets but they seem a little expensive. Overall I love Blueland and recommend it's products to everyone. Thank you for the work that you do in trying to clean up the planet. We need more great companies like yours!!

Overall, I enjoy using Blueland. They have a great mission and vision that align well with my environmental goals. Was looking at other reviews and decided to add... I have not had issues with my bottles breaking. I did have to replace my multipurpose pump and a hand soap pump once, but that is it.

I love the products I have tried (laundry detergent and toilet bowl cleaner). However, the shipping is VERY SLOW. I ordered several items, one of them a laundry refill, on 10/22 and have not received it as of 11/8/2023. I have not received any notice of delay. I went on the website to track the shipment and got a generic message that "due to high shipping volume, my order might take longer than usual." I think Blueland should investigate making its shipping process faster with more communication about delays.

We’ve used the soap tablets for years, recently we shifted to the dishwasher and toilet bowl cleaners and both do a great job. The multi-purpose cleaners are not quite as strong as the rest of the products we’ve tried, we use other products for tough messes, but they do work for basic after dinner clean-up. Overall, we love Blueland and would recommend.

I really love the Blueland products. I have tried the general cleaners and the foaming hand soaps. They are all amazing. I have not tried the laundry detergents or the toilet cleaners, but I am sure they are amazing also. I am so glad I tried them.

I use only Blueland for my household cleaning products (except for what they don't have yet, like wood cleaner). It feels good knowing there is nothing toxic in the cleaners, and it's simple to order refill tablets to make more. The foaming hand soaps are my favorite.

I use a lot of the products from this company as I am trying to transfer to less plastic and reduce my footprint. I use the dish soap (powder). I do like this product, I use it for pretty much all my dishes. Sometimes there gets to be some powder in the air right when you squeeze it out, so I try not to breathe in at the very same time and that takes care of it. It cleans well, no plastic bottles and I can compost the packaging. I also use the dishwashing tablets and those also clean extremely well. I can't understand people getting cloudy dishes from these as it's almost always liquid that does that. I have never had that problem, although I do still use a rinse aid because it cuts down on the time my dishwasher runs. I also use the glass hand soap. I like this product a lot as it really cuts down on waste. Since it's a foam and not a liquid, it takes a few extra pumps, but worth it for sure. I also use the laundry tabs. I have a large washer dryer and often do large loads. If I do large loads I use 2 tablets. Sometimes the second tablet doesn't dissolve all the way, but this is a minor inconvenience in my opinion to replace those huge bottles and also to not put more microplastics (as are used on other laundry tabs) into the environment. I also use the toilet foam cleaner which I love. I have the three types of cleaners. They all have a nice subtle smell unlike a lot of strong scented detergents you find at the supermarket. They clean well. I think this is a very good company, doing the right thing, and offering good useful products. Any hassle (and I don't find any) is outweighed by the improvement in my plastic output. I use Blueland for pretty much all my cleaning needs, I use another similar company for shampoo, body wash, face wash, conditioner etc.

After a few months shy of two years of using Blueland, I've decided to no longer continue with the subscriptions. I used the following: hand soap, dish soap, laundry tabs, and window cleaning tabs. The clear winner: hand soap. I loved all of the scent options, my pump never broke (I've read many reviews saying otherwise) and it worked very well at what it was supposed to do. The window cleaner was the clear loser. Embarrassingly streaky and left a terrible film and my sprayer broke in under a year. When I wrote the companty about the poor quality of the product they gave me reasons why it wasn't working properly (one of them being that I used too much of the product, which made no sense to me given that they portion out the product with the tabs--it's not like I was putting in 2 tabs per bottle) which annoyed me because it felt like they were blaming me with misuse. It's not a hard product to use. Put 1 tab in, add water. The product is a fart--I went on to read many many reviews stating the same issues I was having. I run an Airbnb, so I had to stop using the product as it made my glass table look like I hadn't cleaned it between guest. This product needs a LOT more R&D. The laundry tabs fell in the middle. They never wowed me, but I also can't complain, they did their job. The dish soap I liked in theory but I noticed after using for almost 2 years that I was having to shake on a lot of product to get the cleaning power I needed to do my dishes, so I felt I was using a lot. I love that this is the only subscription product that ships powder so you're not paying to ship water in the mail. I love that they deliver in paper packaging. Their designs are sleak and chic. I did not like their shipping notifications. This seems ridiculous but the wording always made me feel like it was too late to delay when items were ready to ship and I wasn't ready for more product. I don't know what to suggest other than to look at Chewy's autoship model. Something about the language that company uses successfully sets off alarm bells to go in and delay shipping when I'm not ready for a product. Dropps also does a good job of this (in fact Dropps sends a text with a reply button you can press that asks, "Need to delay another week?" Friggin' amazing!) I have a very small home with very minimal storage, so this is incredibly important to me. This is one of the big reasons I don't like the subscription model--I often get product before I'm ready. Almost every damn time! Ultimately, I made the decision to commit to my local food co-op and refill my products in-person while keeping my money within my local community, which often supports and donates to local schools, food banks, farmers, etc. Also, more control over when I get my product. I really hit my wall when Blueland shipped $75 worth of product I wasn't ready for. I started looking for alternatives and landed on "local is best." I can bring my own bottles from home and refill bath soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, and dishwashing liquid at my local co-op. I appreciate what Blueland is doing. Most of their products are good. The system needs improvement and window cleaner most definitely needs more product testing. Very good, not great. I hope they get even better.

I love Blueland. I have tried their laundry tablets, oxi laundry booster, toliet cleaning tablets & dishwasher tablets. I have been impressed by all. I have tried many various earth friendly brands over the years but I have felt most don’t clean. Especially laundry and dishwasher. These do. Most of the products don’t have any smell and the ones that do, smell good! The best part is that I can order refills and not buy a plastic tub every time I need more laundry detergent. I would love to try the body wash. I do just wish there was a glass bottle option for that.

I have used the dish washing powder, the sprays, the toilet tabs, and the hand wash tabs. All of these worked well for their intended functions. My only issue has been the scents of some of the hand wash tabs. But that is a personal preference, so I only buy the lemon scented ones of those now. Any problems that I have had, which were minor, the company resolved.

Love that it’s not harsh chemicals but still works. Big bonus that it’s reducing the plastic from all those bottomed of cleaner. An awesome concept, I wish more industries would follow suit. I am a repeat customer and will continue to be. I got the starter kit with hand soap and have gotten refills since. Might expand into the toilet cleaner and laundry once mine are out.

I've been using Blueland since 2020 and I continue to use it as my only brand for so many things in our house. We use the hand soap in all of our bathrooms and kitchen, the laundry and dishwasher tabs (which are TRULY plastic free, unlike standard pods that have a plastic casing that breaks down into micro & nano-plastics in our water), the oxi laundry booster, the multi-surface spray, bathroom spray, and glass & mirror spray, the toilet bowl tabs, and the body wash. The laundry tabs, dishwasher tabs, hand soap, body wash, oxi laundry booster, and toilet tabs are all fantastic. They work just as well as common store-bought brands and I much prefer the chemical free, less waste, healthier planet products that Blueland provides. It's extremely convenient to keep extra product on hand in a minimal amount of space since you aren't storing water. Plus there are some wonderful, unique scents in body wash and hand soap and the oxi laundry booster leaves my clothes smelling great. The bathroom spray and glass & mirror spray perform well enough that I will keep using them to support the mission of less waste and a 'cleaner' clean routine, but they could use a few tweaks. We keep a higher powered bathroom cleaner on hand for any deep cleaning. The glass & mirror spray is ok but takes effort to get to streak free. We still use it as our only glass spray but it's no windex. ***Edit to Add: Thanks for the reply, Blueland! I will give this a try with our glass & mirror spray! The pumps (both hand soap and spray) are not great - they stick and break easily. They sell replacements but honestly they just need to invest in higher quality designs and materials. It's the most frustrating part of Blueland. It's still better than going through bottles AND pumps all the time but I wish they would do better on this front. I've replaced 3 soap pumps and 4 bottle pumps; I'm tempted to order my future replacements from Amazon to see if they hold up any better. We do not use the powdered dish soap for hand washing dishes. It's effective but flawed in use. We live in a dry climate and any time I try to use it the soap dust gets in the air and makes you choke trying to breath. Also, the silicone bottle spills anytime it's knocked over. We still have our original powdered dish soap from 2020. I hope they will go the direction of the body wash and make a gel version which I will happily switch to! To summarize it all, even with the minor gripes I have, we really do love Blueland in our house and we will keep using so many of their products. I'm always excited when they introduce a new, eco friendly cleaning alternative!

I love their products. I love that we’re reducing plastic waste. It’s easy and affordable to order from them. We currently use their hand soaps, dish soap, dishwashing tablets, laundry tablets, toilet tablets, body wash and facial soap. We’ve been a customer for two years.

I recently purchased the all purpose cleaner, bathroom cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner, glass cleaner and the power dish soap. I am pleased with the all purpose, bathroom and toilet cleaners but not at all impressed with the glass cleaner leaves constant streaks, and the dish soap you barely get soap suds.

I have been very impressed with Blueland so far. I originally found Blueland after searching for a couple of years for the best nontoxic, yet most effective products on the market. Blueland finally met all of the requirements. As I run out of other brands, I replace them with Blueland. It’s only been a few months, but I have not run into any concerns or issues at all. The oxi booster makes the laundry smell great. The toilet tablets are easy to use and make the bathroom smell great for a couple of days. Everything else works well and smells great too.

I’ve had a similar experience as others have detailed. I was initially drawn in because I love the environmental mission and the convenience of the subscription, however I’ve been disappointed in the quality of products and customer service. We initially invested in cleaning system, and replaced all hand soaps in our home with the foaming pump (5) and then later added on laundry tabs/booster. The “cleaning system” itself is kinda disappointing, bottles feel cheap and as many have mentioned sprayers break all the time, I’m currently on my 4th sprayer. Customer service said if I provided a video and sent back the broken sprayer they would make an exception and send me a replacement 🙄…. 1) I’m busy, I have a hard time getting to the things that have to be done. I don’t have time to send a video and then mail you back a sprayer…that’s why I opted for the subscription on all my products in the first place. 2) isn’t the whole mission to invest in quality products to reduce plastic waste? Seems like it should be on them to source quality parts that can hold up, instead of making the customer jump through hoops and continue to replace sprayers and contribute to the waste we were trying to cut back on in the first place. 3) I’m a subscriber who uses a large amount of the Blueland products, don’t nickel and dime me and waste my time over a $3 sprayer. 4) if you decide to become a subscriber go ahead and subscribe for a sprayer to be sent every 3 months and take that cost in account. As far as the laundry, we like it, scent is ok but I much prefer that to the chemicals found in other detergents... I will say in the last subscription about a third of the laundry tables came crushed into small pieces or basically powder, but that seemed like a one off. Foaming hand soaps are good, some scents are better than others. I’ve only had 1 hand foam pump stop working but that seemed more responsible given the amount of time we used it… Will likely cancel my subscription as there are similar products on the market now, (opposed to when I first stated using blueland) and at some point the convenience isn’t worth isn’t worth it, especially if they aren’t doing there part and taking sustainability seriously.

Laundry comes out clean and light. Doesn’t feel heavy with residue. Works well with natural enzymes for tough stains. Dishes are clean and free of “wet dog” smell. Hand soap is light in scent and has a clean feeling. Glass and all Purpose cleaner are great while the bathroom cleaner seems light in cleanliness, but they maybe because I’m used to strong smells that give a sense of clean. All appears clean!!!! My favorite… TOILET BOWL CLEANER!!!! I do think the website could be a lot mor friendly, it is 2023 after all…Not a big concern
