  • Plastic-free packaging elegance
  • Light, pleasant fragrance profiles
  • Effective dishwasher tablet cleaning
  • Space-saving refill tins
  • Fragile, finicky pump mechanisms
  • Streak-prone glass cleaner formula
  • Inconsistent laundry tab dissolution
  • Underpowered greasy-mess cleaning

Blueland impresses in reviews for delivering effective, low‑waste cleaning—dishwasher tablets, foaming hand soap, toilet tabs, and laundry routines often perform as well as conventional options with lighter, pleasant scents and compact, plastic‑free refills—so the brand is good for everyday cleaning. However, reviews flag inconsistent cleaning strength for heavy messes (glass cleaner streaks, dish powder and some sprays underperform), dissolving issues with laundry tabs, and widely reported failures of plastic “forever” bottles, pumps, and sprayers.

  • I like the products overall. The refills (soaps, cleaners) are good, but the reusable parts are not great quality. I've had to replace the soap pumps and spray bottles pretty regularly (a couple times a year) which kind of defeats the purpose. I actually switched over to a genetic spray bottle for the cleaners because they work better/last longer than the blueland spray bottles. Save your money on the bottles and just get the refills. Also the soap comes out of solution in the cooler weather when my house gets below about 72.

  • Be careful with the subscriptions, there’s no costumer service, only bots, I tried to cancel mine because was shipped to my further address and they just say “sorry”. I tried in s many ways to get help, but nothing. Also the product aren’t that good, the laundry pods don’t get disolved properly.

  • Love this brand !! I’ve used the dish detergent and laundry detergent for about a year now and my belongings are clean and I feel healthy for myself, and the environment.

  • Blueland's products come in recyclable packaging. On their website, they list the ingredient list for all their products, which is commendable for transparency. Many of their cleaning products (such as hand soap, cleaning sprays, body & face wash) come as a dry compound which just requires mixing with water to produce the cleaning soap or solution. Some of these soaps need a bit of time for the dry compound to completely dissolve and mix, so be aware of that. Other than that, their products are effective in daily cleaning and scent options are nice.

  • I use the laundry tablets, add, if needs, be the powder for stains, they are both awesome. It treats my laundry gently and yet definitely acts better than any other non toxic I had tried before. I wouldn't today switch back to anything else. I use also the dish tablets for the dishwasher. I am so grateful, Blueland, knowing that it does have way less negative impact than any other safe or organic product...

  • We subscribed to the starter kit and added on the laundry tablets. We've been receiving Blueland for a few years now and love it. We don't use the glass/mirror or bathroom cleaner as fast as the refills come in with the subscription so we havd had to pause those two in our orders when needed. Overall, very happy with all the products from Blueland and love that this has reduced the waste in my home.

  • This is my second time ordering refills. I love the concept and will continue to use it for my laundry, toilet, cleaning, and face/hand/body washing. The only challenge so far has been the laundry pellets, which don't always seem to dissolve quickly, making me wait before I load the clothes, and the dish soap plastic container, which is challenging to open. I think getting another container for my dish soap that looks prettier on my sink will be a good option. Other than that, I love all the products & happy not to have to toss out all that useless plastic after using the contents. Bravo Blueland!

  • We started out with kitchen and bath cleaning supplies from blue land to try the brand out and after using that initial set, we were hooked! I love the concept, with minimal plastic, the refill packs for your containers, and the containers look nice and are easy to store. We now have the surface cleaners, toilet tabs, laundry detergent, sponges, body wash, face wash and hand soap. My one complaint is for the body wash- it doesn’t get very sudsy, especially with my environmentally friendly loofah so I use a lot more soap. But it doesn’t dry out my skin or leave a residue - two issues I’ve had with other body washes. The face wash is gentle, leaves no residue, my skin feels clean without tightening or dryness. I’m hoping the next products they add to their lineup are shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. The sponges are great! We will continue to use those too. I highly recommend this brand for all household cleaning and product needs. Can’t wait to see what else they start offering.

  • I ordered the Blueland dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent after I learned that regular pods release microplastics. I have very hard well water and was concerned about how well they would work. I have been thrilled with both products. First of all the tins and tablets take up much less space than the big plastic containers to hold the same number of pods, and work amazing. I previously had been using the Cascade pods from Costco in my dishwasher and thought that the Blueland tablets did an even better job. My glasses are clear without streaks. My laundry came out clean and smells amazing. I have two children in college and ordered the laundry tablets for both of them as the tins are really small and will take up less space in their dorm rooms and because they work so well.

  • I want to stop using plastic and I have found both the laundry tablets and dishwasher tablets quite effective. Not having to store bulky laundry soap is an added bonus. Packaging is very pleasing.

  • I've been a Blueland customer for several years. I appreciate the commitment to sustainability and feel confident with every purchase that I've found a brand that's not just greenwashing! That's why they get a 4/5 from me! I'm satisfied with the cleaning capacity of most of their products that I've tried thus far. Feedback: A few of their items do leave something to be desired. The glass cleaner just didn't work well, left windows and mirrors foggy. I wish the facial cleanser did a better job of removing make-up. I also wish the pumps (foaming hand soap pump and spray cleaner nozzle were more durably made. The price-point of the laundry detergent is the only one that I haven't been able to comparably justify. It'd be ideal to have a bulk option that gets a better rate than $0.32 per load. The toilet bowl cleaner I think would be more effective as a gel (the way that adding water to the facial cleaners allows it to coagulate.) That way you can apply it to the top of the bowl for it to soak/for the cleaning agents to work.

  • I’ve used the dish tablets and the laundry tablets, and am very pleased with them. The dish tablets are of course much better for the environment than what I was using before, but also get dishes just as clean. Same for the laundry tablets, but I’ll add that the smell is amazing! I’ve used them for all types of loads now like bedding, clothes, delicate cycles, etc. Cleaned my husbands golf shirts very well, (other eco-brands were lacking in this area), and I also appreciate how compact and simple the storage tins are, no more giant jugs or boxes! I’m looking at their other products to see what to try next :)

  • I hated these products. They didn't work well at all, and they were extremely difficult to return. The customer service was terrible, considering how expensive their products are. They may be sustainable but I've used plenty of sustainable products that actually clean surfaces like glass.

  • The fact that a company can provide a consumer with so many products that are used either daily or weekly is quite astonishing, and wonderful! I have made the change to Blueland for hand soap, dishwasher tablets, dish soap, laundry tablets, glass cleaner, multi-surface cleaner, toilet bowl tablets, and bathroom cleaner. There has not been one ounce of disappointment from any of these products. With a transition to more environmentally friendly products, there is obviously a price to pay. I have not had regret for one moment in paying extra for these products. You are supplied with a reusable container for your different soaps and tablets, the lack of harsh chemicals leaves your skin feeling comfortable and unlikely to be irritated. Lastly, the overall quality of these products matches that of anything loaded with palm oil or sulphates, without the extra ingredients - proving you do not need them. The only thing I wish I had done was make the change a lot sooner than I had.

  • I noticed that the dishwasher pods had a plastic coating. When cycle was done, there was a plastic odor when I opened the dishwasher. My neighbor told me about Blueland products and have been using the pods ever since. No more plastic odor when cycle is done. And, no more tiny particles ingested into my body from previous pods.

  • I saw Blueland, but I was a little skeptical when I first saw the product. I ended up buying myself one and someone for a Christmas present. I was pleasantly surprised and then bought the entire compliment of items to test them all. I have been pleased with every single one and I’m slowly re-ordering them as I need them. What a great ecological way to approach keeping your surroundings clean.

  • I'm very glad I discovered Blueland as I have for a long time been irked at how insanely wasteful the myriad plastic-bottles and products for household cleaning ended up in the garbage. This concept is so simple it's revolutionary - why buy mostly-water with some, harsh, cleaning agents when you can just buy the dry pods and add water yourself?? It's a dang miracle. I hope everyone buys this.

  • Love Blueland. Use them for many things: laundry stuff, toilet cleaner (my kids got me started with throwing a toilet fizzle into the tub with a couple inches of water for an easy way to clean the tub!), hand soap, glass and multi-surface cleaner. I’ve got one of my kids onto it and would love to claim to have turned others into it! I believe they’re also a Certified B-Corp company, too! And that’s the Best for sustainable companies!!

  • I have the hand soap and love it, so just took advantage of a sale and bought 12 to give as gifts this upcoming holiday season. I’ve already bought for my adult kids. I think I need a few more now that I’m thinking about it - good for coworkers, friends, hostess gifts! Also loving the dishwasher tabs, body wash and face wash!

  • I use BLUELAND products regularly since hearing Ginzer Zee promote them on ABCs Good Morning America. I have not regretted that decision because not only do I love their products, I feel so great not to contribute to plastic waste pollution. Currently using dish wash powder, hand soap, glass cleaner, surface cleaner, laundry tablets, oxiclean powder, face cleanser, and toilet tablets. Can't wait to receive my order that includes their plastic free sponges. Keep up the fight for a plastic free earth, Blueland!
