These changed the protein bar game for me when they came into my orbit. I'm a former gym owner and trainer, so I've tried just about every protein product you can imagine. They generally provide a satisfying eating experience (as long as you don't let them melt in warm temps). I've had several flavors, and Salty Peanut and Caramel Cashew remain favorites. Meanwhile, I'm reminded I need to try their other flavors, i.e. MINT! All this said: They're a great option for on-the-go protein, but they're still a processed food, and they sometimes sit in my system as such. They definitely give "candy bar but with protein" vibes, which is why I only have them every once in a while.

The best protein bar to exist. So tasty. So good. The best macros for a protein bar with this type of taste. Try the cookies and cream flavor asap 

They have a ton of protein, and so many innovative flavours. However I can't escape that they taste a little powdery and the chocolate feels a little off to me. 

Cookies and Cream is my favorite flavor. It is such a good way to get protein in and it does not taste bad. It is chewy on the inside with crunchy pieces on top, great for chocolate lovers like myself.

The salty peanut flavor is so similar to a snickers bar but it has 20 grams and 200 calories.  A treat to snack on if I’m in a bind or on the go. Even my picky son said it’s pretty close to a snickers.  Haven’t tested the other flavors yet. 

I like the Caramel Cashew and Cookies and Cream flavors. Great way to get more protein and the chocolate tastes better than most bars.I also like that there is no sugar added. Great snack.

Grab one of these at a gas station on a road trip, and was pleasantly surprised. Well it does have some artificial sugar, it doesn't come across as prevalent as others have in the past.  Also, 200 calories for 20 g of protein is pretty solid.

My husband and I tried the Banana Caramel because it was suggested by the sales associate at GMC. She’s tried all of the protein bars and said it was her favorite. We liked that it had 16 grams of protein, just 200 calories and no sugar. It had a mild banana flavor and was similar in texture and density to a Charleston Chew from my childhood.  We both said we would get this brand again, but will try a different flavor. The banana had a slightly artificial taste.

OBSESSED. A colleague gave this protein bar to me cos she had an extra one, and omigod, it tastes like pure chocolate. Instantly bought a few more from Holland & Barrett/ Londis. Also tried the milkshakes but the protein bar is better for me

In my opinion these are some of the best tasting protein bars on the market. The chocolate tastes like a chocolate bar. No weird protein taste either. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because all of the flavors taste the same from what I’ve tried. They taste like the chocolate coating, but nothing more. Never tastes like what it’s marketed as.

Barebells are the TOP Protein bar out there. They are a little pricer than the competition but they are so so so worth it in my opinion. Creamy crisp is the best flavor they have! 

The Salty Peanut Bar is as close as I have found to a "Snickers" protein bar. Yes, I know it's not the same thing, but for a protein bar to taste that close, it's a win! The texture is good, the crunch of the peanuts is nice and the flavor is great. You can even find them at Trader Joe's now!

If you can find single bars at grocery stores or gas stations, that's the best way to try new flavors. They do have a sampler pack but it was sold out when I went to buy. I bought through amazon but you can buy from the site. Hoping they add like a subscriber plan in the future.

This has been one of my favorite protein bars that I've ever eaten. I bought a box the caramel cashew bars off of Amazon and have been blown away by the taste and texture. There's not that overly dry, protein taste you get with other bars - this feels and tastes more like candy than a meal replacement. 

BEWARE OF THESE. Once you try them, you will never go back to a different protein bar ever again. I have no idea how they have so much protein because the cookies & cream flavor tastes just like a chocolate bar. I'm obsessed.

I bought the bars from Trader Joe's and tried carmel-cashew and chocolate dough.

Chocolate dough had a really weird aftertaste for me and I couldn't get behind it. Carmel-cashew was pretty good. I really like the soft, nougaty center. 

Not sure if I'll buy them again though. 

I ordered one box +2 single bars, and when I got them, they were all melted! At first, I didn’t hear back from them after I sent them a picture of the melted bars, and then I asked if they would send me another box but not to send it the way they sent it and they told me that’s the only way they could send it so they don’t care if they get to your mountain or not but they charge you that extra money to send them with dry ice that was completely melted when I got them
