Simply put - I am obsessed with my AWAY suitcase. I got the smallest size carryon. Why? Because I went through torture with my old suitcase, having to constantly fight the gate attendant that my bag was small enough to fit into the overhead bin. But with this AWAY, its never an issue. The 'Carry On Flex' is the absolute way to go. It fits in every overhead bin for every airline in the world. Plus the expander is a nice option to allow for more room. Even though the suitcase is the smallest option that AWAY carries, it still fits alot of stuff. I can pack this carryon bag and it fits enough clothes for a week long trip (with a capsule wardrobe of course). The best part is that the wheels are so smooth on the floor. It is so easy to roll it around. When when it is packed to the brim the wheels and handle make it feel weightless. I know this review is so glowing that you may be wondering if it can be true...but it is true. The Carry-on Flex is amazing. I got the dark green color, which is chic. Dark enough to not look dirty, but different from your typical black suitcase. Overall I LOVE!

I got my first Away suitcase as a gift almost 5 years ago and it's still going strong (minus all the scuff marks that are totally my own fault). I got the larger carry on size and have never been turned away for it being too big at the airport. It's spacious, durable, and great value. I travel almost once a month and will choose my Away suitcase over my other suitcases (Rimowa) sometimes because it's just so spacious and durable. I also own the Weekender bag and it's so pretty. However, I find the material to be quite stiff and I don't often use it.

I have the bigger carry-on and it fits so much and has held up so well. I have a Tumi that I spent so much money on that has completely fallen apart over time and my Away suitcase is a fraction of the price and holds up so much better.

Sometimes the handle feels flimsy. Also you will have to remove the battery pack when going through airport scanning.

Great suitcase and the lifetime warranty is a game changer! Been using my carry on for years before the “bigger carryon” was offered and recently added the bigger carryon to my collection.

I have the bag and the toiletry case. They are both sturdy and work well. I also always get compliments on the blue color.

This is the first thing that convinced me it’s worth spending more money on something good. I am a seasoned road warrior and really needed a suitcase that could keep up. I’ve had my Away carry on since 2018 and just THIS year, I had to go in to have them replace the insert I snapped. I have never had anything - suitcases, backpacks, or totes last more than 2 years. My husband uses the medium on long tour travel. It sits at the bottom of a bus and gets pulled in and out nighty with only scuffs to show the wear. The quality and warranty are absolutely worth it.

I have the larger carryon, the soft shoulder carryon and the packing tubes, solid products though the carryon can be a hassle to open and close at times.

I believe it’s a nice bag. I believe it’s a nice Karrie case they make that’s a good brand. Very good brand.

I have a bigger carry-on that I’ve had for over 5 years and it’s still in great condition. I have the white so it definitely gets dirty (especially after it gets gate checked), but a magic eraser does a pretty good job of getting it looking fresh. Considering how long I’ve had it, there’s minimal wear on the outside and the inside looks brand new. I don’t think I could ask for more.

This bag truly simplifies travel. I never check a bag anymore. I just removed the battery pack permanently so I can fly with it as my carry on. The different sections are secure and make my packing feel efficient and the wheels and standard approved carry on sizes are game changing.

I researches a lot before purchasing my Away Bigger Carry-On. I've had it a few years now and it's still holding strong. Highly recommend doing the monogramming to make it extra special. I plan on buying my boyfriend his own for Christmas (tired of sharing mine haha).

We love our Away suitcases! We have multiple sizes - from the carry on up to the large one. I love that the smaller ones nest inside the large one - makes storing them so much easier. These bags have traveled thousands of miles (multiple trips to Europe and Asia, as well as domestically) and barely a scratch on them. The charging battery on the carry ons is super helpful too. They zip up really well and the wheels are great - very seamless for trudging through airports with kids.
