Love Arc'teryx! I have a backpack from them that I use for travel everywhere I go. I also have a fanny pack and few clothing items. All are super great quality! Definitely on the pricier end though.

For certain outdoor gear that Im willing to drop $ on I often go to Arc'teryx! I have both a raincoat and puffy winter jacket from them as well as some accessories and I can tell they will last me a long time and have been built with great care and detail. I can't attest to the change in quality overtime as I know theyve scaled quite a bit in the past few years and have heard from others that certain items have had a change in production quality. Overall, I trust them for things like jackets and gear!

Me and my family only buy Arc'teryx Gortex products for shells and ski pants. It's the top of the line, without being gaudy when you are on the mountain. It's the only brand I would trust for a really technical outing and extreme conditions, but I also wear my fleece from here year round and it has held up better than my one from Patagonia. I also feel my down jacket from here is slightly more flattering than my ones from Patagonia. I've also purchased their detergent for washing my down jacket from them, and it worked great. I will admit though that I will continue to buy Patagonia (a.k.a. Pata-Gucci) because even though it has come to be associated with Finance and Tech "Bros," Patagonia seems to care more for the environment and humanity -- which matters to me. 

 Not even a one year Warrenty——jacket only a year old? Super disappointing
We bought a jacket last year for Christmas. And the material on the sleeve has failed. I was working with warranty and was super disappointed by the response and rejection to back up their product only after our year of use. In the past, we’ve always paid more for these products because of their quality. Apparently, this is no longer the case.

Excellent quality engineering in this superior tech product.

Socks falling apart, gloves falling apart at its seems, pants pockets get delaminated inside ... 90% of all my clothing is Arcteryx, and I own a alot of Acteryx clothing, 
( I own about 15 jackets, about 15 pants, cardigans, hoodies, running pants, backpacks, waist pack, gloves, socks, hats,  even their Arcteryx Leaf Products (Jacket , pants) 8 pair of shoes, etc etc that I spend fortune on, after making a complaint and talking to their customer service, they said this was normal :) they did nothing for me as a customer.... all they care is money

Their customer service went down hill since 2019, Chinese retailer Anta Sports bought a controlling stake (56%). and their quality goes down as well. 

I don't know how to explain it but all of the apparel I've tried from Arc'teryx, make my body temperature feel... stable? For example, with other brand's leggings, I can feel the cold air through the material, but with their leggings temperature changes feel less harsh(?)

I bought my first Arcteryx CERIUM HOODY MEN'S jacket, and it was a bad experience, and I want to share this experience with you, be careful  there is  a serious defect in this model with the main zipper, in my case the zipper no longer works after a single season of use, after communicating with customer service they offer to replace the zipper with a color completely different from the original color, so it completely changes the original. Look of the jacket.
Conclusion a bad product does not deserve the price of $500, and very poor customer service, I will never buy an Arctryx product again.

The Atom Hoody is awesome. Mid layer, great for spring skiing. The fabric is soft, durable and not too technical looking. Works great for a jaunt in the city without looking too sporty.

I bought an Arc'teryx Beta Jacket Men on august 4 2024 on Arc'teryx french website. The price was displayed in euros. I paid in euros with my credit card and my invoice mention the sale price displayed on the website. My package was shipped from Germany. I was surprised to discover that the bank had charged an amount higher than the price displayed on the Arc'teryx french website. It is not specified on the site that Arc'teryx charges in Canadian dollars and that this results in additional bank fees and that the final price paid by the buyer is not the price displayed on the website. This is a scam!

I bought the aerios shoes, they are nice shoes so I wanted to clean them.  I brushed them with tech wash and rinsed with warm water.  As they dried a rusty color came through from the fabric below.  So I tried oxy clean, still had the rusty color coming through.  I don't see any instructions from Arc'teryx on how to wash their shoes so I figured my methods were reasonable.   I'm disappointed!

Beyond wonderful. The lightweight rain coat is so easy to travel with, rolls up effortlessly, keeps you dry and prevents wind chills. My husband surprised me with one before our honeymoon and I adore it to this day. 

Despite being pricy, the quality and customer service are top notch. My family has purchased many items from them over the years. Twice we have had the fabric delaminate and both times they replaced the items without fuss. I only wish they made kids gear!

I purchased a $250.00 JACKET  for my sons 35th birthday back in September 2022.    For this price I would expect it to hold up …the material either had a small hole on the back shoulder when it arrived or somehow while wearing it just a few times a hole came up.  In about 6 weeks after receiving the jacket he wrote the company and sent pictures of the hole and this company ARC’TERYX responded with “they will send him a PATCH”. I am SHOCKED to say the least.  I’ve emailed customer service several times and they continue to offer a patch… no exchange or refund!!!!!  

Find another company to buy from is my only piece of helpful advice 

Absolutely not worth the money. I was gifted a thin $300 jacket that I didn’t even wear one time due to a huge rip in the sleeve and after going back and fourth with customer service via email for over a month they finally informed me they won’t do a damn thing to replace a jacket that probably costs cents on the dollar to create. It came damaged and I seriously cannot grasp how you charge that high a price for something to be so easily damaged it happens in transit and no serious solution for loyal costumers who were willing to pay their steep price but simply cannot afford to replace brand new items. Disgusted by their response and will never give them another dollar. Highly recommend you don’t waste your time or money. 

I’ve got a jacket and a pack.  Both have been outstanding.  Great materials and design.

I bought a pants on January 20th 2023 at 5:10 pm  And I decided to wear today( Jan 28.2023,  when I wear it and go out , I feel there’s something on my pocket when I open the zipper on the left side to find out, then I find  used mask inside the pocket, and I was out of home, so I couldn’t change my clothes then  I decided to go to their store in metropolis mall in Burnaby BC and talk to the manager and she told me next time you bring it back I’ll  give your money on a store credit cart. I did not have a good experience with this store, also it was my first time to buy a stuff from this store and I think it’s going to be the last time. however, I bought some more stuff after that but from now on it’s not going to happen anymore.😡

Bought their expensive ski pants. The Gore-Tex material is de-laminating from the zipper seams. They said pants were beyond the useful life. Would not stand behind the product. Not the response I expected. I think I will switch back to Heli Hanson. I have had them replace a ski jacket with a Gore-Tex de-lamination problem. I had that jacket for over 20 years. 
These pants are in very good condition (used less than 7 days per season) except for the manufacturing defect. As a matter of design principle any seams should be required to exceed the wear life of the base material.
I did not expect Arcteryx to be making excuses.
PS these pants have 2008 manufacturing date. I believe I purchased them after 2010.



I have worn, and still wear, an Arc'teryx Theta AR Jacket for many years.  It has performed up to my every expectation.  It has never leaked, and I have stayed dry even in downpours.  With inner, and mid-layers, I am always comfortable.  I consider Arc'teryx to be the Rolls Royce of outerwear companies.  I once sent it back to the manufacturer, for repair.  The rear seam had come loose, and they took care of it.  Their warranty and customer service was top notch, which I expected considering it's price.  I would definitely purchase another jacket from Arc'teryx, once I wear this one out.
