I made the switch to the stainless steel pans to avoid non-stick coatings and am pretty happy with All Clad over all. Pros: they get really hot and heat evenly, non-toxic, work really well once you get used to cooking with them and let the pans heat up to the right temperature! Cons: they take a long time to heat up (since you are supposed to use medium heat only, not high), they are getting a weird coating on them, even when I clean them thoroughly. Note: I think the coating/discoloring may be user error... and doesn't impact how well they work! :)
