Alani Nu earns strong reviews for flavorful, candy-like energy drinks and effective pre-workout that deliver a noticeable boost, indicating the brand works for many users. However, feedback flags overly sweet, artificial-tasting flavors, high caffeine that can cause jitters or anxiety, and divisive use of sucralose; protein shakes (Cookies & Cream, Munchies) and gummies also win praise.

Love Alani as a pre workout, an afternoon pick me up, or as a going out pregame! The flavors are super sweet if that’s your thing and it has plenty of caffeine and looks cool. Love buying these at Costco

This is one of my favorite energy drinks. No sugar, low calorie, and tastes EXACTLY like a cherry slush. It gives me the energy boost I need throughout the day at work or any other day I need a pick me up.

I cannot express how deeply dissatisfied I am with this company. I placed an order three weeks ago and have reached out multiple times simply to find out when it would ship. Despite my efforts, I have received no meaningful update. To make matters worse, I have now received three separate emails informing me that items I purchased are suddenly “out of stock.” If you do not have sufficient inventory to fulfill orders, that should be accurately reflected on your website. Customers should not be allowed to purchase products that you do not actually have available. Making a customer wait three weeks only to repeatedly cancel items from their order is completely unacceptable. The lack of communication, inventory management, and overall customer service has been extremely disappointing. What is even more frustrating is that instead of providing a shipping date, an estimated timeline, or any meaningful communication regarding my order status, you simply canceled the entire order. After waiting three weeks and repeatedly following up for answers, that response is unacceptable. At this point, I will never purchase from this company again. Offering discount codes, $10 credits, or 10% off future purchases does not address the underlying issue. A discount is meaningless when the company is unable to fulfill orders in the first place. This experience has left me with no confidence in your business, and I will be sharing my experience accordingly.

My favorite energy drink brand by far. The flavors are always delicious and never have an aftertaste to me like some other brands. 200mg of caffeine is the perfect amount and the cans are too cute. Can't wait for more seasonal flavors!!

This thing is unbelievable. Rather sweet for my taste but the effect is amazing. It kicked in with an amazing mood boost and I have been cleaning home for hours, dancing, tackling chores I have been postponing. I HIGHLY recommend. I had a small can and it was ENOUGH. I am 5’8 and 192lbs.

After having several friends recommend it, I recently tried the Alani energy drink. I tried the Pink Slush flavor, which was delicious. It reminded me of an ICEE, but it gave me much more energy than that would have done. In addition, I appreciated the lower calories and added health benefits of the energy drink by Alani.

Overall I have enjoyed what I have tried from this brand as far as taste goes. Their energy drink flavors I've tried have ranged from good to amazing. The best flavor by far is the Witch's Brew one. The only packet flavor I tried was the mystery flavor from early 2023, and I thought it tasted good as well. As much as I enjoy the taste of their products, I no longer drink them because they do contain sucralose, the artificial sweetner. I would love to drink them again in the future if they switched to a natural one.

I have tried both their energy drinks and their protein shakes. Their cookies and cream flavor protein shake is honestly one of the best ones I’ve tried - doesn’t really have any of that protein-y taste and texture is good.

I have tried the energy hydration packets, the energy drinks, the protein bars, the milkshake smoothies, and the gummy candies. I strongly recommend the gummies. The energy drinks and energy packets have a metallic taste that I could not get into.

I bought Alani Nu from Target for Thingtesting review. No discount or commission. The flavors I bought was Hawaiian Shaved Ice and Breezeberry. The shaved ice is sweet in taste and does resemble the shaved ice you get when you are in Hawaii. The Breezeberry tasted like raspberry and wasn't as sweet. There is no aftertaste. Only 10 calories and 0 sugar. I like that the product is made in the USA. The drink is 12 oz with 200 mg of caffeine and compare it to a 12 oz of coffee which is 113-247 mg of caffeine. They have different products which are supplements and protein bars.

The first time I tried Alani's peach-flavored "Fizzi Flavored Water" I wasn't too impressed. However, a can or two later I've come to appreciate the taste. It's a tad more "peachy" than similar products like La Croix and Spindrift, though the difference isn't so marked that I'd make a special effort to find the product. Alani has a whole range of supplements and protein products, which I can't speak to, but their flavored sparkling water, though nothing amazing, is just fine.

Best pre workout powder I’ve tasted. Also Alani Nu greens powder is slightly sweet but not to the point you feel like you’re drinking juice and it didn’t taste like grass.

Great product with great taste. Did exactly what it claimed. But made me slightly jittery and raised my anxiety a bit. They could increase the l theanine to help with gmd caffeine jitters or add other ingredients to help counteract the anxiety.

I enjoyed the Alani protein coffee. It had a good taste without being too sweet: there was only 6 grams of sugar in the Maple Donut flavor. While I still prefer a regular iced latte, this is a nice protein option.
These taste so good, but sadly it's too much caffeine for me to handle. Not for the faint of heart like me, it made me really anxious and my heart metrics were wack. If they didn't have that effect on me I'd drink it all the time. I hold a soft spot for their packaging, something about it the graphics on the can just works so well so kudos to their graphic designer.

I'm not an energy drink kind of gal, but these are so good! Really fun flavors and they aren't packed with a ton of sugar compared to others of similar flavors.

I'm stilling itching to try the Witches Brew flavor! It's been so hard to find over the last three years.
When I’ve had their energy drinks they were super good, really strong flavor. So if that’s your jazz totally recommend. They do typically have an artificial flavor just because they are so bold.
These energy drinks taste great but I am worried about how artificial they are. The pre-workout is extremely effective and doesn’t require a big scoop so it dissolves well in water. But I can’t help but wonder if I’m drinking some sort of synthetic battery acid? Lol!
