Reviews mention

  • Distinct colorways and palettes
  • High-quality materials
  • Thoughtful campaign creativity
  • Iconic collaboration offerings
  • Limited small sizing
  • Inconsistent customer service
  • Frequent sellouts
  • Occasional uneven stitching

Aimé Leon Dore reviews show the brand works as a high-quality, design-forward label prized for its colorways, collaborations (notably New Balance), and store aesthetic, but it frustrates buyers with frequent sellouts, inconsistent sizing and limited small sizes, and spotty customer service. Buyers who value crafted materials, classic-elevated streetwear, and standout footwear will likely find ALD worth it; those who need reliable sizing, responsive service, or frequent availability should hesitate.

  • Brilliant campaigns and quality product. I love my loafers, they took a bit to break in but now they’re perfect.

  • I have been following ALD for years now and Teddy Santis continues to put out innovative & stylish clothing. High quality, high prices, look for New Balance to put out similar styles as an alternative.

  • Very bad experience. I won a raffle and they said it will be shipped in 10 business days. After 10 business days I recieved an email which said that my order will be shipped next month. That is unacceptable. Surely, I wont be entering anymore raffles there or buy anything.

    Very bad experience overall.

  • The material and quality of the garments seemed cheap. The stitches were wonky and sometimes overlapping and awkward directions, nothing premium about this brand except the price tag. Was shocked after paying so much to see such a lack of attention to detail.

Should be priced more in line with companies like ASOS or Weekday, otherwise they should source better quality materials and use better manufacturers. Customer service should be more responsive. They should use more sustainable packaging and offer a simple and free returns process not just store credit.

  • Good looking basics, minimal design, OK-ish quality, high price point.

    Feedback

The brand offers *no refunds on anything*, only store credit. And sometimes no store credit either. For a somewhat high-end brand that seems unfair, given that online shopping is difficult to guess size. The customer service is very unresponsive and difficult to communicate with. There is no direct customer service email address or phone number.
