Reviews mention

  • Sturdy steel construction
  • Attractive modern design
  • Secure locking mechanism
  • Spacious interior capacity
  • Inconsistent weather sealing
  • Rust-prone screws and hinges
  • Difficult package-box assembly
  • Narrow parcel slot opening

Adoorn earns mixed reviews: many praise its sturdy steel construction, handsome modern colors, locking security, and easy installation that elevates curb appeal, while others report flawed design and durability problems such as water intrusion, rusting hardware, misaligned parts, and confusing assembly—especially for the package box. The brand appears good for style-forward, theft-deterring mailboxes if weather-sealing and build tolerances meet spec, but buyers should weigh reports of difficult assembly, narrow mail slots for parcels, and inconsistent quality control.

  • This is one of those things where I should have done the research on the front end. Looking at the negative reviews, almost everyone of them is due to shipping issues. One reason I picked Adoorn was the quick shipping. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. Online, they say 1-2 days for it to ship out. Its now been a week and I do not have a shipping number. Every time I reach out I get a very generic reply. Going to have to try and cancel the order and just by a post on my own. EDIT*** Placed my order on 07/16 and its now 07/27 with no tracking number for my post. I attempted to cancel the order for my post and got this reply "Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately as a portion of this order has been delivered, we are unable to cancel this order. The post is estimated to ship this week. Once shipped, you will receive a separate email with the tracking number." Since day one, they have said the post will be shipped out later in the week. Its now week 3 with no tracking number. Please do yourself a favor and order from a reputable company. Adoorn unfortunately spent to much on advertising and cannot keep up with the simple demand.

  • Terrible experience, I ordered an out of stock item scheduled to ship June 12th, then pushed to June 18th, and again pushed to end of July (which they didnt seem confident in meeting the ship date). Waiting 2 months for a mailbox is crazy. I cancelled the order and went with Post and Porch instead. Ordered on 6/15 and they've already confirmed my order and ship date.

  • I'm all for supporting small businesses but don't order through this company. Possibly go through a larger retailer like Amazon. Customer support lies about tracking and is unwilling to help/ engage in solving any problem.

  • Shipping was significantly delayed and required multiple follow-ups on my end. I ultimately chose to refuse the package due to the overall experience and lack of proactive communication or support in resolving the delay. A refund was issued, but only after continued outreach.

  • The mailbox literally took weeks to get and then when it came it didn't have all the numbers. Then I called them and they said I didn't order the right numbers and they wanted to charge me for more numbers. A meal could definitely be bigger and have better hinges. It is a beautiful mailbox but I would not buy this from this company again. The numbers that did come did not stick very well. Had to go get an adhesive fun time to make it work

  • Installed the Adoorn post mount mailbox last week and overall we are very happy with this! Sleek, modern design, very sturdy/durable. We added a 4x4 post (insert in the hollow post) so that we could sink it into concrete for the strongest base. The mailbox was easy to install, price was fair, like the flag design. We spent another $50 on 4x4 interior post. A few things we noted: 1) Door could use a soft close/open type of hinge, when door is just dropped it bangs into the metal post. We added "bumpers" to the post so the door will hit these instead of the metal. Spent $10 on bumpers. 2) Interior of the mailbox needs a better finish. Need a flat bottom inside the mailbox. When you open the mailbox you see the rough bottom with screws showing where center post is mounted. 3) Need gold house number option. Adoorn only offers silver and black numbers that are stick-ons. We purchased brass magnet numbers from Post and Porch. Spent $70 on the numbers.

Great idea on the bumpers and I agree on the need for soft open. the hinge on mine failed after 2 months and completely fell of. Looks like the welds on the hinge failed. So far the customer service has been very responsive. They are sending me a replacement mailbox. I will add the bumpers and see if this helps. I'll draft a better review after we get the new one installed and working

  • Turns out 30 is the age when you get excited to tell people about your new mailbox lol No, but seriously, I love this mailbox! You can tell the quality of it immediately when you open it and I love that it locks so we don't have to worry about anyone taking our mail if were gone for a few days. It's been attached to our fence for a few months now and it is showing no signs of fading or rust. I backed them on indiegogo so I did get a bit of a discount, but I still think the price is reasonable for the quality.

  • Well built, easy to assemble and set. I liked that the metal post was a slide over for an existing or new 4x4. Nice fit and finish. Very attractive and useful. My Postal Driver was impressed. So am I

  • Just moved to new neighborhood and saw my neighbor had this box and knew I had to have it in the beautiful DILL GREEN! Great quality product and CUSTOMER SERVICE is next level. The product instantly elevates curb appeal.

  • I’m very happy with my new mailbox. The look and sturdiness of it is just what I was looking for. I received great customer care when I needed help. The response time was very quick and supportive. I’ll be recommending this brand to my friends and neighbors.

  • We searched online for a stylish mailbox and then saw an Adoorn in the neighborhood. Great design and functionality. Liked it so much we got a second one for the summer house in Wisconsin.

  • Unfortunately, we have a neighbor who likes to steal things, so I had to break down and get a locked mailbox. Fortunately, I discovered Adoorn and now this sunshiney beauty rules the roost on my street in glorious Santa Fe, New Mexico.

  • I love the mailbox and the quality is great! The styling adds so much to our house- very impressed with the customer service at adoorn A+++

  • We absolutely love the look of our new mailbox. We also made a mistake when ordering & customer service has been quick to respond & very helpful. The construction of the mailbox seems great. We purchased the small, "2-3 days" of mail & it is even bigger than expected. With the amount of mail we receive we will only have to check for mail once a week! My one note for the team would be to change the thickness of the cardboard they use as a buffer for the locked door when packaging. It was so tightly wedged in there we could not open the door & we were struggling to determine if the latch was locked or unlocked. The cardboard ripped before the door released, but we got it open eventually. Overall, extremely happy with our purchase.

  • We purchased these boxes for our church to put on the walls for people to drop connection cards and other correspondence. These are not only made to the utmost highest quality and standard, they are gorgeous and will last forever! Highly recommend! The Customer Service is super fast and extremely helpful!

  • We love our wall mount Adoorn mail box. The detailed instructions and mounting materials provided made for quick and easy installation. The support provided to us by the Adoorn Company and staff were truly outstanding. The Adoorn mailbox is attractive, designed and engineered in a superior manner and locks securely to prevent any theft or compromise of contents. We would recommend this product and Company highly to any of our family , friends or neighbors. The Adoorn Company, Staff and line of products to include The Adoorn mailbox reflects great credit on the Staff, Team and Company as a whole.

  • Beautiful, sturdy and well-made mailbox that was super easy to install! On top of that, the customer service has been outstanding and extremely responsive. The flag for the mailbox wouldn't stay up on it's own and after a simple email to seek out an option, I had a new one the very next week at no charge. Good customer service is hard to come by nowadays so the excellent staff at Adoorn and the attention they give to actually supporting their product puts them heads and tails above the rest! Best of luck to this new upstart!

  • We were looking for a new mailbox to help tie our newly landscaped driveway entry all together. There are loads of styles out there, but we wanted something that was simple, understated and had some color to make things “pop”. Also, we wanted a mailbox that had secure features since our mailbox is located on the street, and not directly on our house. The locking function and the sturdy steel construction combined with the great color selections that Adoorn offered made this an easy choice to replace our old mail receptacle. Not to mention, Adoorn has loads of sizes , which can accommodate a week’s worth of letters or boxes! The option for mounting was also exceptional, with multiple mounting holes. We did not go with the classic post, so the multiple holes gave us more freedom for attaching the mailbox to our mounting/post choice. ( a wine barrel). The customer service and friendly staff were the icing on the cake.

  • I ordered the post mount mailbox. It’s a really attractive mailbox with tons of room at the bottom. The security feature is great. Big issue however. On the picture showing the large pole mounted box it shows a brown box seemingly delivered in said mailbox as well as a large envelope. I would love to know what miracle or magic trick was done to fit a package ( box) of any size into the narrow narrow slot? One of the biggest reasons I purchased it was due to the fact that finally my small packages from USPS would be secure. Well, that won’t happen unless the mailman throws them under the front wheel of the delivery truck and drives over the package repeatedly. For me just a huge waste of money. So close yet so far.

  • My wife questioned why I bought a mailbox, LOL. After I put it up, it’s easy to see why. This box looks sharp and its build quality really reflects on the house keeping the whole home looking elevated. Mailbox came well packaged and fully assembled.
